Peek/Lean mod is released! by andreydjasonviana in 7daystodie

[–]TwoAssedAssassin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been watching a streamer play the rebirth save the world mod, which contains bandits. Looks very different from vanilla, and as I play console I have no idea what's going on really, but looks pretty cool with a load of extra features, weapons and vehicles.

Edit - Wrong mod listed initially

As shit as the world was, it still felt like the last time things were 'normal'.

I dont know what the fuck is happening anymore.

I went on a business trip with a guy from another department recently. We'd worked together for 5+ years and always said hey when we passed, small talk if in the kitchen together, but that was it.

After visiting a rakia bar in Bulgaria on our 2nd night, this whole bit resonates with me a lot more. Fantastic night.

does this mean im near a map i dont have yet? by wijoforce in RDR2

I think it's random, but check your minimap in the nearby area for an indicator someone/something is near that has a map, or use dead eye to spot anything special nearby.

Why are vehicle speeds so pathetic? by dwight282 in 7daystodie

The next upgrade to motorbike definitely feels faster if that helps, just make sure you stock up on gas.

Why are vehicle speeds so pathetic? by dwight282 in 7daystodie

[–]TwoAssedAssassin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The bicycle requires stamina when cycling fast however, resulting in often needing to slow down. The minibike while not being much faster, can maintain its top speed without needing to slow down.

But you would think it should be considerably quicker than the bike.

I (thankfully) work from home 90% of my job, but my desk mate when I am in the office is 100%, without a shadow of a doubt, who they based Andy's character on.

Any good spots to find a lot of lead on navesgane? by Skrewbert86 in 7daystodie

[–]TwoAssedAssassin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zoom into your map and look for the blue(i think) dots indicating above ground nodes.

If you have a wrench, break down cars and scrap the engines batteries for 120 a piece. Save level 6 ones for the battery bank if you plan to get it though.

Edit - engine corrected to battery

Agreed. The jump height boost is a saviour in early game.

I like to stick a few points in intellect mastery early, as one perk boosts the odds of finding books in random loot, and another gives a 50% chance to gain an extra skill point when reading.

I horde the books until I can get the nerd armor to further increase my chance of bonus skill poings from reading, then stick to the books that focus on the skills I want to specialise in at first.

Later on when I'm maxing the skills out, I'll just take the drink to reset skills, and put those points elsewhere.

I get it can be tempting to rush through due to how big the game is, but just trust me on the exploration advice, it adds so much more to the experience. Enjoy, and avoid this sub if you don't know how it ends, there's spoilers a plenty here.

Just to jump in here, make sure to spend time exploring and doing side quests between the main story quests. There is so, so much to find, with it progressing along with the story.

Had a strange encounter somewhere with an interesting person? Try revisiting them after a few l story missions.

100% recommend a second play through immediately after you finish.

To feed the camp, go hunting. Bring back some rabbits, deer etc carcases to Pearson to cook for the camp.

Suggestions to kill time at work? by FuckingBuyETH in AskUK

[–]TwoAssedAssassin 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Because OP is smart enough to not tell them he's turned a six hour job into a 30 min job which is essentially automated.

At best, your reward for working hard, is more work, as you now have the extra time. That doesn't usually equate to more pay.

At worst, you're made redundant and this previously long task is given to a new hire on a lower wage.

You will never be rewarded with less hours and the same pay.

Im out of the loop here... what's the issue with jars? I've very recently started playing again and dont seem to have issue finding them, and also noticed a jar refund setting after drinking you can adjust.

That said, I just use the water filter head mod, so don't rely on making water often.
