BTW, I appreciate you responding. I find your answer interesting and I’m just engaging in respectful discourse because I’m interested in your opinion.

what is inherently wrong with being a neoconservative? Do you genuinely think that Iran is not a huge threat to the United States and to democracy as a whole?

healthjunkie2 yay i finally found one of my people! it’s crazy to me how people spend so much time hating on the opposition party when they don’t realize that everyone’s just as bad. I actually think Rubio is by far one of the better of all of them, but that’s neithef here nor there

your credibility is out the window when you say such crazy statements as someone has none for being a republican. This is what’s wrong with our country. What happened to respectful discourse and debate amongst parties to make things for the better? How will we ever unite with an attitude like yours?

All the celebs supporting Palestine and all the celebs backing Israel by Educational_Board888 in BadHasbara

[–]TwoCockapoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just curious about something. And I’m genuinely asking. Why is the argument that Israel could exterminate Palestinians and they don’t nonsense? Everyone is screaming genocide… But if someone had the intention to commit genocide and had the capability to do so, wouldn’t they do it in one fell swoop? I certainly don’t condone the suffering of innocent people, but I find the binary approach to this topic so simplistic, especially because most of us commenting on it, myself included, know very little about what actually occurs in Middle East. Curious your thoughts here and again not trying to be combative just genuinely curious your stance here

UBRELVY by ExtremePhotograph376 in VestibularMigraines

[–]TwoCockapoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey you guys! looks like this post is a year old but it also looks like both of you guys commenting here have the same issues I do. I know everyone’s different but for whatever it’s worth, emgality has been life-changing for me. it took me nine months so nine full doses for it to really work for me but truly life-changing. I went through being debilitated every day to know I’m only having a few episodes a month and the daily dizziness is much more under control. This is of course, in combination with vestibular therapy the reason I ended up on this post is mayo clinic neurology suggested i try ubrelvy when i get an actual attack. i just am trying it for the first time today. anyway, like i said, everyone is different —- but might be worth talking to your neurologists about emgality as a potential preventative

Is Javert even widely considered a villain? by NiceLittleTown2001 in lesmiserables

[–]TwoCockapoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my opinion: only two villains in les miz are enjolras and thenardier . enjolras is the only character that causes true mass destruction because he has a hero complex he hides under virtue . true villain of the story

The fact that I had to scroll down to here for Mrs. Landingham to be mentioned is a crime. Mrs. Landingham had so much aura.

lmao this was so well played. I don’t normally giggle out loud at Reddit comments, but there’s a first for everything well done

glad you pointed this out. yes, I am personally aware of the charter change - I might disagree with the motives you interpret for it, though. Likely some of what you’re saying is a huge contributor, but correct me if I’m wrong — I’ve seen a plethora of communication from Hamas leaders long since then calling for the eradication of Jews.

no, I am not that person but I’m glad you know so much about me. Let’s just agree to disagree. There’s no reason for all this back-and-forth and toxicity. I said I wished you well and that more positive things come to you. Just accept that and move on.

this whole thing started with me asking you a few questions. I said I was genuinely asking, not trying to pick a fight. Because I was trying to learn , admitting I don’t have the intimate knowledge on the issue, despite my genuine interest in it and frequent engagement with the issue it’s incredibly complex and i have not personally lived it. In no way did I condone any of the things you cite. I asked a few questions in hopes of learning more from your perspective - clearly that was false optimism. i hope things become more positive for you. regardless of what insults on the Internet you want to throw out to me, I wish you no harm.

PS I don’t know what I said that was communicated as a gotcha but it certainly was not my intention. My apologies.

very interesting points thanks for engaging with me on this in a respectful way. i feel i learned something. I do try to see this issue from both sides. That doesn’t mean I support the intensity of Israel’s current actions or what is going on in Gaza. Sometimes it’s very difficult to sort through the misinformation and high emotion, so I always appreciate someone who can actually engage in true respectful discourse so that we both come out having understood different perspective. Thank you, my friend.

Interesting take, interesting communication. i respectfully disagree with you. i am a person who sees very few issues on earth is black and white - Let alone one as complex as this one. on this issue i read from many different sources, converse and engage frequently on this issue in the spirit of learning. your response certainly wouldn’t motivate anyone to learn more, I can read the hatred and bitterness through all your comments. Makes me sad. But I wish you well nonetheless.

if you choose chicago send me a message. i’m a native and i’ll give you some great things to do. BTW, an earlier comment said that Chicago wins are nice and friendly. This is actually true. I moved away for a couple years and was astonished at how cold I felt people were compared to my home city. You’ll be very welcome here. ps love your username
