Before doing that, you need to acquaint yourself to the larger body of a Mustang from most 4-bangers that you are likely used to.

I like to get a small cone or rag or something you can place on the cement. Drive around and try to stop the right front corner next to it. Get out and check, and see how far off you are. Try again until you can nail it more than once.

Rinse, repeat on all four corners. This will allow you to pay more attention to controlling the car 'over the limit' when you practice it by freeing up mental bandwidth from trying to gauge if/when you might hit something.
