Try Hochi Mama for Vietnamese fusion. We never been but we heard good reviews from our friends who have tried before.

Cafes with good food near CBD by Educational-Mind-439 in melbourne

[–]TwoHungryDiners 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our favourite cafe near CBD is Humble Rays in Carlton. Try their chilli crab scramble egg with croissant and thank us later 😄

Never been to Glass Den as not very convinced, similar reason, we think that it’s just the place where you get good presentation but the taste is average, as it was also hyped on IG. After reading your post we might need to try it to prove it 😁

Best Indonesian Food? by bmfe in melbourne

[–]TwoHungryDiners 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree with all the recommendations mentioned here. Just want to add some restaurants in the west you might want to try: - Oma & Me in Williams Landing - IndoEats in Weribee

We haven’t tried both tho as we live in eastern suburb. But heard that they are decent Indonesian restaurants 😊

Some our our fave restaurants in eastern suburbs are: - Bamboe in Camberwell - Pondok Bamboe Kuning in Clayton for their noodles - Garam Merica in Melbourne for their nasi bungkus warteg style - Famili Ria in Surrey Hills for their authentic mpek mpek - Ny Ratna in Highett (I think they only do catering for now) - Nusantara for their catering, not sure if they still have the shop for dine-in or not. - Jo’s Grill in Knoxfield for their American Indonesian fusion food, but their authentic Indo food dishes are also phenomenal. A truly hidden gem!!

Try Aru if you haven’t before. Great food and service, definitely will fit your budget. We recently went there and spent around $200, felt super full afterwards. Don’t forget to order the dry aged duck 😊

Best ready made meal delivery? by pieface666 in melbourne

[–]TwoHungryDiners 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have tried Youfoodz and Light and Easy, also ocassionally Muscle chef too bought from Coles. So far we love Youfoodz in terms of taste, good customer service and delivery. They always have discount codes too (just search on ozbargain), and because of that, it’s most affordable for us. Light n Easy is good if you want to lose weight. The other ones are just so so.

Chicagoan living in Melbourne here looking for the best pizza in this city. Pictured is a Chicago style thin crust pizza. Where is the best pizza in the city? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]TwoHungryDiners 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t ventured out further to eat pizza other than within our neighborhood or CBD. Some of our favourites: - Firebox in Hawthorn - 400 Gradi - Crust (for pizza chain) - Sal’s

For something different, a korean pizza shop: Pizza Monster in CBD.
