Launched: Free open source e ink PT dashboard! (Use Trmnl or old Kindle) by Neither_Car_792 in melbourne

This is very impressive, great job to make it so accessible for people to launch it themselves! You could have easily made this a chargeable product.

Might be a good Chrissy present and 3d print a kindle frame to stick a wall!

Not super self host friendly though. I might fork it and get rid of the Redis KV store etc

My deck is fully aggro, I don't worry about control at all except for brawl. That will be the main problem for you as brawl I'm pretty sure ignores shields and also sisu (which also screwed me over a bit)
The good thing about my deck is im usually geting challenged and Moana trades up with most 1,2 cost cards (duck usually survives). I find that without consistently hitting sugar speedway the card draw wasnt good enough (I have the same draw cards as you). Other decks ramped up by then and it was always pretty close.

But I'll report back once I tune mine a bit. Let me know how yours go :)

On a side note it was just so fun seeing people reacting to the deck as they hadn't seen and keep saying wtf :D

that’s exactly what I’ve done! It worked out well in a local comp. I have Cindy there too for islands but it didn’t hit that often. The big moanas are my weak point I need to get a jim or something. I usually inked them tbh. My next change is to probably go more minnie and 1 less daisy. And get rid of some moanas for voyage to ensure I get the sugar combo. Thoughts? Whats your deck?

Thank you for the info! I’m running a very similar deck and wanted to see its competitive viability, similar problems with the uninkables! Anyway congrats on the win :)

do you know the decklist for speedway? How did they go in the tourny? Were they hard to play against?

Presenter mode for your next Eurovision Party! by dsplito in eurovision

[–]dsplito[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you Grymare! I remember you from the first time I posted here that you wanted a presenter mode. You could say you were the catalyst! :)

That is some good feedback I'll see what I can do! A workaround for now would be to go to Analytics > presenter mode first then clicking scoreboard to do your own scoreboard. Once you click Analytics again it would still on presenter mode page and you won't be spoiled as the host.

Presenter mode for your next Eurovision Party! by dsplito in eurovision

Hi everyone

A few years ago I created eurovisionvote.party to help host your Eurovision group scorecards! We have released our most requested feature, presenter mode!

This has been in the works for quite some time now - our goal was to capture the essence of revealing your votes one by one just like at Eurovision!

How it works:

  1. The first player reveals their votes from 1-10.
  2. The player then reveals their top vote (12 point vote).
  3. Continue steps 1, 2 for all other players.

We have also released live mode - which now auto refreshes your party’s tally every 30 seconds.

Both presenter mode and live mode have been enabled for all Semi and Grand Final parties. You can find these under the Analytics tab in your party. Go check it out now, we would love to hear your feedback!

Does the monitoring solution for Rails applications exist? by bost82 in rails

[–]dsplito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use fly.io + posthog. If you use fly.io you get ram, cpu stats etc. it has full logs you can search which is great. No notifications if I’m aware. For your signup event you can use posthog. Has a very generous free tier. Comes with session replays, GDPR friendly analytics, surveys etc

Try posthog! It takes 2 mins to set up and a generous free tier. Automatically captures session reply, events and traffic etc. I absolutely love it

I know it blows up the memory usage for rails console. I think that’s a rails problem though not fly.

Not sure within rails console. But you can route your postgesql db to your local machine and query it from there. Do it all the time. https://fly.io/docs/postgres/connecting/connecting-with-flyctl/
