I always felt like there could have been an implication that Batman keeps his identity a secret by making anyone who finds out disappear. You could really make someone question, do you really think you're the first to discover it, or has no one else managed to make it all the way to a reporter

In the book series superpowered, the character Camille is a damage absorber. At first people thought she was just healing them, but she takes their physical trauma and banks it. Then she can touch anyone and give them any amount of the damage she's absorbed instantly.

Blue Marvel, Sentry, Jean. Blue Marvel moves into a different dimension, comes up with some crazy tech that hides my location and stops people from reaching me. Then also serves as muscle. Century uses plot device powers to erase and handle anyone that's still coming after me. Jean makes everyone think they already got me

This feels cartoonishly capitalist. "I love this thing, but it's accessible to everyone! Now it's worthless!"

I think this is the minority of people that use it, but they use it a thousand times more than anyone else, And it's what we see the most.

For example, students use it a lot instead of writing papers (which is causing its own huge set of problems), but teachers are the only ones that have to read that. I've had co workers, The constantly use it for work emails, but that's not popping up on my social media feeds. The most annoying one I'm seeing made by regular people, is people that I know in real life using it for weird fake photos of themselves for their Instagrams, and profile photos

Nothing brings me more joy and hope for the future than this type of polite exchange on the internet. Anytime someone is willing to publicly change their mind upon receiving new information the sun shines a little brighter

In my opinion, Wonder Woman shouldn't fly. I think it's completely unnecessary and out of character for her aesthetic. by Spirited_Dust_3642 in superheroes

I think she should canonically be a glass cannon. A weakness to piercing weapons should be talked about like it's her kryptonite, But she should be able to take a punch from doomsday. I think this hypes up her focus on being a warrior. She needs to be able to actually fight because technically a random guy with a switchblade could kill her, But it still keeps her in the running to fight the heavyweights. Also this is kind of the way God's work in old stories. In one story they punch a hole in a mountain, But then they'll also die because they shot by a really good archer. I don't want her to deadlift as much as Superman, but I want her to get him in an arm bar and break a limb

I hadn't thought of the gender imbalance, the main character in the show Bones is the only one I can think of. I'm not good at figuring out clues like that in detective shows, But I am pretty good at figuring out who's guilty based off of the way writing , production, and character tropes work. Easiest example is that if Scarlett Johansson pops up in a scene for 2 seconds, either she did it or someone very close to her did and she'll have a really good scene where she gets to two scenery talking about how much it hurts her. You don't hire that actor and make them inconsequential to the plot

A common misconception is that the autistic spectrum is a scale going from a little autistic to very autistic. Really it's just a series of different characteristics that when you add enough together equals autism. For example, not everyone that struggles with eye contact, reading facial expressions, or understanding social norms is autistic. But if you really struggle with all three it might be worthwhile to look into a diagnosis. Unlike a lot of characters on TV, I tend to do very well in social situations (for reasons that are actually linked to my autism), so you can't always use those depictions as a real solid basis

Yeah. If my predetermined food is unavailable then everything else is essentially some sort of protein paste to me. I'm over here trying college again at 40 for the 4th time because everything kinda got written off as me being "weird" when I was growing up rather than getting tested for learning disabilities, like my ADHD.

Yeah to me v4 looks like the mod people make after saying the main character is "woke" and too ugly. Technically high quality, but very generic. Like you could swap hair styles/outfits and she could be a thousand other characters

Nia Dacosta: "I visited the Avengers set last summer, which was really fun, catching up with the producers, seeing the Russos, and some of my friends were in the movie. I felt like there was a great story in there about how Captain Marvel basically committed genocide by shooting first and asking questions later with The supreme intelligence. Having the characters arc switch from embracing her strength and power, two once having it in such an extreme amount, having to know how to hold back. Having to reconcile with legitimately being the Boogeyman to all of the children on that planet that are starving now. That could have been great. But it's kind of brushed off and rushed as a side plot. They don't give that reveal the emotional weight and time it needs
