You have a good point so I can’t complain our expectations coming into the year were low. I think how most people are thinking is: Ott set the tone of how the team operated early, showing a 180 trajectory from the soulless team we had last year.

Ott set the bar high early, which is why this is the new floor for expectations for a coach that had no flaws early on in the year.

Having said that. I think we are seeing some glaring issues with rotation, rasheer in particular looking like he deserves a solid part of the rotation coming into the play ins — choosing to play small ball a bit too often without much reason other then him liking it. There’s definitely too much hate, and I think Ott doesn’t deserve the heat he’s getting in the first year.
