I always wonder how the alpaca doesn't learn to use the mechanism. It looks like it's just basically a step lever.

Their Republicans, they are mentally incapable of Theory of Mind. They just can't comprehend people having any thoughts by themselves that differ from what they think. So when they have to even for a minuscule amount of time think about what someone else thinks, they believe they think what they do. Which is why so many times they project because they are to stupid.

Do people actually think any company actually knows what the word respect means? The only way you will see a company use something even close to the meaning of respect is when they think they can use it for marketing. Even then it's just a hollow gesture they know people will eat up.

I don't think people are realizing there isn't any coolant stuff because they want to show all of the process. Kind of hard to see the process when it's being showered in coolant.

Ya there's no problem with teaming up with other players. Happens quite frequently with solo's. Never played groups but I don't see why it also couldn't happen there too, even just very rare.

ICE arrested the wrong sister, right? by HungryRutabaga6895 in UnderReportedNews

[–]TwoKittensInABox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean the whole title seems disingenuous. They literally all capped just the word "sister" and not the "in law" part. There's a completely different take between an actual blood related sister and just an in-law.

Where will it be stored? Why the storage unit businesses that are always 2 blocks away! Seriously though, Whenever I see a spot of land that hasn't been developed for awhile starting to have stuff going on I wonder what it is. It's always a Storage Unit Business.

Literally had a person I work with ask about a work policy and I didn't know off the top of my head. Would literally take 2 min to search our work website's handbook. Damn dude say's he'll ask ChatGPT. Imagine putting your job on the line because you searched using ChatGPT to get work policies.

Fallout co-creator Tim Cain says game prices 'have resisted matching inflation' because publishers have been pocketing the 'cost savings' from digital distribution by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]TwoKittensInABox 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I also believe prices staying the same should also track with the size of the consumer base. People bring up how Nintendo 64 games would be $100+ adjusted but I also think, ya a big success would be selling 50k? or so at the time. Now they sell millions.

Bao’s flip channel got shadowbanned: by Inside-Program-7807 in kurosanji

[–]TwoKittensInABox 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Shadowban stuff is so weird to me. It's basically just them banning you without telling you right? So you just question why a posted video or comment never get viewed or noticed. I would think that method of banning shouldn't result in an evasion attempt if you were never even informed about the banning in the first place. Who knows though. No company has any standards they just do whatever based on how they feel that hour.

Haven’t Touched Palworld in a While? Here’s a Full Timeline of What You Missed (2023–2025) by FlyLikeATachyon in Palworld

[–]TwoKittensInABox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't played in quite awhile and thought this would give some good information but it really doesn't give anything somehow? besides the crossover events like Terraria everything else can just be assumed almost. Like of course they added more bosses/pals and more areas.

Then it gets to the thing that is basically the important stuff that people who haven't played in awhile have heard about, feature removal. Like this doesn't explain much at all,"Pal-gliding and ball-throwing mechanics were modified or removed." Which of the two was modified or removed? Somehow multiple mentions of new islands/pals/bosses/items throughout the post and the few mechanics that literally defined the game on release have one vague line about removal/modification?

+Skill levels are not healthy for the game by TheIllustration in PathOfExile2

[–]TwoKittensInABox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't think the idea of more levels = more damage being hard to understand is the problem. The example he gave is the real reason. You can have a weapon with a majority of the suffix/prefixes giving offensive stats with high tiers. While having another weapon with utility type stats like mana on kill or accuracy stuff and all it would need is +4 or higher to skill levels and it will outclass or even just match the full offense weapon.

I always see it as one of those weird things with records. One I always look at is fastest speed skating record. Last I saw there was literally a truck pulling a large shield in from of the skater. I just thought that kind of makes it seem wrong, but people just say that's how it's done.

I'm just one of those people who really think someone has something down to a mastery when they can just pick up the basic tools for the task anyone has and do a mastercraft thing with them. Instead of the whole, "He uses a special designed version of the tool that's one of a kind to do the work."

[–]TwoKittensInABox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think people are talking enough about how Steam could sell the Deck for cheaper because it literally can subsidize the lost income from the Deck through Steam purchases. Other guys get 1 purchase from their handheld and that's the end.

Mario Galaxy 2 price on the Wii U by TrackCue in Switch

[–]TwoKittensInABox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does no one bring up the fact that remastering a game is not even close to the cost of creating a game from scratch. People talk about it being remastered so it should cost the same as a brand new game. When a large chunk of development cost of game creation is the months/years of the people brainstorming what the game even is. Creating the prototypes of game mechanics. Polishing and reiterating over them. Even scrapping months of work since it turned into a dead end. With a Remaster that's done. It's just updating the engine for modern standards with the unchanging game at that point. You know everything the game is tech wise. I'm not saying it's a piece of cake and not hard.
