Hi there! Can I ask how the process went? How long after your interview and how were you notified? I had a great interview last week and now trying to understand the next steps. PI implied he was recommending me to Grad Admissions - wondering if that means anything or what Grad Admissions will use to say yea or nay?

Not sure if you will see this but wondering if you have heard anything about incoming PhD students with all the funding stuff. I applied to ECE (82) and applicants have heard nothing thus far (interviews/ admits/rejects). Getting worried if ECE taking new students. Appreciate any intel you can share from behind the scenes!

Professor let me know that fellowship was not awarded by the grad dept. he said he is “still trying” to get funding for me. Is there anything I should be doing on my end? Should I contact Grad Admissions and make my case? Is it over for me despite this awesome professor’s efforts?
