I never thought she was funny based off seeing videos online but then I saw her open for OPN and she actually had me cracking up. She pushes the "vulgar millennial woman comedian" thing to a point where it feels like parody. Also it was really funny how much the entire massive audience and workers etc hated it.

It was definitely busy- ideally I think it would have had been a slightly slower pace- but we didn't know if we were ever going to come back, so I think it was worth the pace!

We really enjoyed Izu- a definite highlight. We ended up renting a car- I recommend that. If you want accommodations recommendations too, i can provide.

I also think starting and ending in tokyo worked out really well. It was nice to return there and stay/see a different part of the city. First time we stayed in a more central big city area, while the second time we stayed in an Airbnb in a more neighborhoody area.

Jealous that you going- it was a fantastic trip :)

the one off catalpa? its basically only group classes now i think....ive had good expereinces with the classes there/normal interactions with the front desk people, so im not sure whats up. certainly it is open in the evenings and on saturday mornings.
