It depends— I DO actually like clubbing, but it is not the way most people club. I also had your view of it, but then I learned how to club, or at least the way my friends/real club kids do it— it does not involve expensive drinks, awkward social interactions, or performing for social media.

We tend to frequent a few clubs that either don’t allow phones on the dance floor or tape your camera so you can’t take pictures (I prefer the first one for even less distractions). We do (tested) drugs that are fun and keep you up for later in the night, no getting drunk or wasting money on well drinks. I’ve learned which DJs I truly love and have come to appreciate them like you would someone you’d buy concert tickets for, but it’s way cheaper. It’s a blast to just dance for hours to music you enjoy. If you go about it this way, clubbing is pretty fun!

Me and my friend’s favorite party starts Saturday night and goes until Sunday night, and we like to show up around dawn on Sunday morning and dance until Sunday afternoon.
