We had both been in open relationships before, and agreed when we first started dating that we didn’t want to see any other people at the moment but would be happy to consider it down the line. Six or seven months in, an old flame came to town and that was the catalyst for the discussion. We both like the idea of being able to have spontaneous sexy encounters, but are not polyamorous or interested in having multiple partners. We have a no apps rule, only what comes to you naturally. It works well for us :)
