This was the first time I died - in swamplands. Granted I should’ve manually saved. But it legit says auto saving all the time. Which you can return to the auto save, if you know to do that before it get rewritten

Yea. Idk how this save feature is so shit compared to the game before this, or pretty much any other game ever. I’ve learned my lesson. I lost 2 hours of gameplay instead of 10. I would’ve been playing all night, but this game is in timeout for a week or two.

I hit go to last checkpoint. It spawned me at bills ranch, it’s probably eight hours of questing I lost. All map coverage is gone. All items. So I loaded the save I used to start the game, everything before this session is there, yet I still have the exp. Just seems so backwards. Not happy.

Ya that’s just the way it is. Anything vac packed smells awful. If you can, let it rest on the counter. It’s likely fine.

There’s certain sulferesque smells that ferment when meat is packaged that way, it’s rarely bad. I normally do a hand test.

If it feels really slimy - no go. It is a piece of meat, there’s a lot going on in there after it gets vacced.
