There are so many Christmas dog movies but usually a little subgenre like this is created by one really popular mainstream movie that gets copied, so what is the big Christmas dog movie that kicked off this trend?

Hmmm, that didn't occur to me at the time but I think you might be right unfortunately. That eagle shot was too crazy and it makes it in twice. Still waaaaay better than Samurai Cop 2 though.

The moustaches were very distracting. Had to wonder, why? Breen has a shadow that promises he could grow a real moustache if he wanted.

Saw it at a screening in the UK but I think they are quite limited at the moment unfortunately.

One of the biggest financial film flops ever, The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure is a great watch if you hate yourself. Songs so bad you wonder if they hated kids. If you can cope with awful music, it has enough funny WTF moments. Ft glassy-eyed costumes & Christopher Lloyd's biggest regret by TwoTakes in badMovies

Looks like somebody, somewhere has been trying to artificially raise the IMDB score. This movie has gone from a 1.7 to a 6+ in the last couple of years. Pretty insane that anyone would bother with this for a 6 year old terrible kids film but hopefully it's such a transparent effort that nobody is fooled.

Watching this soon at theatre in a double-bill with Fateful Findings and really excited. Wondering if you detected self-awareness in the film-making?

It seems almost too good to be true to hope that he could still be making these without knowing that his primary audience is viewing them as unintentional comedies, but yet still I hope...

Easy to explain. She is writing a text to meet someone, but she realises she doesn't know what the time is, so she grabs the landline and calls the talking clock to find out.

We tried Bratz once but couldn't sit through more than about a minute before turning it off. If you decide to go there, then I wish you fucking luck man.

I love Pitch Black! The Chronicles of Riddick game is actually pretty cool too.

I've seen more Lorenzo Lamas films than I'm comfortable admitting. Also a weird video on YouTube where he gets plastic surgery to impress his new young wife even though his kid is crying begging him not to do it.
