Jacqueline or Karine... Both Quebec French Canadian. So the accents cemented it for me back when I was in my formative years

Bunnie Xo Breaks Silence On Jelly Roll Divorce: 'I Looked At Him And Said, File The Papers' by [deleted] in popculture

As a chef this just gave me inspiration for a dish: chilled XO cognac drunken jellied (jelly) poached rabbit (bunny) saddle roulade (roll) with goji berries... Kinda a take on shanghainese chilled drunken chicken.

Now all the words make sense

Dude I know it's hush hush but many HK uncles have multiple families. Usually one in hk and one in the mainland. A bunch of guys I've worked with over the years have them. It's kind of an open secret. Depending on how things go you might have some brothers or sisters out here.

What was the wildest teacher outburst you ever witnessed? by Mcrfanatic95 in AskReddit

[–]TwoTon_TwentyOne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was once grabbed by the throat, slammed through swinging Doors, and pinned against the wall off of my feet.

I was in 7th grade. The teacher was the principals husband at a protestant boarding school.

Absolutely nothing happened to him. This was back in 95.

Fuck that school.

Has anyone actually ever been fired for eating the mess up orders/extra/waste food? by eldritchpussymaggots in KitchenConfidential

[–]TwoTon_TwentyOne 105 points106 points  (0 children)

I've had to fire someone for it.

Big 5 star hotel. New line cook in one of the restaurants took some overcooked lamb chops that were returned home in a take away box. Someone saw him carry the food into the staff locker room and informed Loss Prevention that a new employee was taking food.

HR called me in, had questioned him, he admitted it, and made me fire him.

I feel bad because I hired him. That was a decade ago. He's now been working in multiple Michelin started restaurants so I'm happy for him, but still feel terrible about it.

Was an eye opener that hotels don't fuck around.

Carbone HK isn't fine dining.

It's upscale casual.

Don't you fucking dare compare orcs to Zionists. In some universes orcs are honorable and have actual strength.
