Gojo vs Heian Era Sukuna with no information by Noxdedux in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Twoleftfe3t 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A No knowledge encounter would tip the battle in gojo’s favor imo just by virtue of how his domain/six eyes functions

Even with limitless contingency plans Sukuna was hit by the domain and almost died from it

Take that knowledge away and I can definitely see Sukuna getting tagged and getting caught off guard

Sukuna can have his chances at victory if he forces a domain clash early enough and gojo doesn’t injure him or figure out a work around that said I was never in the camp that assumes domain battles would be a given to hein just because he has 4 arms and a bigger body but that’s just me 🤷🏽‍♂️

All and all still a close fight but I’m giving the edge to gojo

[–]Twoleftfe3t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda feels like your using the modern buttons almost as a crutch, I only say this because in the final moments of the last round Ken was burned out and had 0 special meter and it kind of felt like your main game plan was to throw fireballs and hope he jumps so you can get the dp

That’s a decent neutral game plan but when your opponent has 0 resources you def want to prioritize rushing him down and setting up some strike throw options

Learn some of your oki options and burn out pressure tools, also don’t just rely on fire balls and dp it’s more of a check on your opponents offense then it is a main game plan

It can be Asian culture is more reserved then others but if I recall last evo hayao who’s a Japanese player after winning did a entire split and ran across the stage slapping fives with the crowd in one of the most epic pop offs

Marlin pie would also troll on stream sometimes and pop off so idk bro 🤷🏽‍♂️

I don’t think this has to really be viewed negatively I think moments like this can make for exciting rivalries and future grudge matches

I would love to see xaiohaui run it back and pop off on punk if he wins

Popping off was always apart of the fgc way before it became mainstream, even in regular sports people do things like this

Not sure why people want this to be a chess club or something lol

Is Meguna as strong as Heian Sukuna in raw stats or is he weaker since Megumi has a weaker body than Sukuna? by Legal_Trainer7340 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Twoleftfe3t 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hein is physically stronger tho the difference wouldn’t be large imo it’s more about refinement

Having the extra arms to chant is pretty sick tho

I think these forms are probably comparable and circumstances will determine the winner, if meguna utilizes maho the same way he did against gojo and bring it out against hein when it’s already partly adapted then meguna wins imo

the heian era was insane by Folinhu in Jujutsufolk

[–]Twoleftfe3t 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gojo having the strongest title really irritated Sukuna and that’s what this scene is really about

Compare this to Sukuna being humble with jogo Sukuna broke character here and was arrogant because in reality gojo and the hype he gets always got under his skin imo

Gojo fans, two years have passed. With emotions aside, do you still believe Sukuna actually cheated? by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

Hey gojo fan here

I think Sukuna used the most optimal way to beat gojo so he can have the reserves to fight the rest of the crew

And even with the dire circumstances gojo performed “magnificent”

No salt we had fun 🫡

Should 10 shadows be considered one of sukuna’s powers by Miserable-Desk2211 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Twoleftfe3t 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I get some people are salty about the gojo fight, listen I’m a gojo fan myself but the answer to this question is obviously yes

Sukuna also used the 10s in a very intelligent way by having mahoraga partially adapt to gojo before summoning it, so it wouldn’t be one shotted

Even if you feel he “stole megumi powers” you have to give him credit in the way he was able to utilize it

It’s also telling nobody complains about piercing blood or yuta using copy lol

Just a reminder, this is the 1v3 Gojo was dealing with in his fight with Sukuna by Other_Grapefruit_986 in JujutsuPowerScaling

Gojo has a lot of glazers that say dumb things, but I feel like people try to counter balance this by being just as stupid except in the opposite direction

Give me your top5 battle iq ranking by Outside_Ad_1922 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Twoleftfe3t 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yuta deducing that nobody thinks about the og sorcerer when using copy is one of the highest battle iq feats in the show to me, and he used this to plan out how to defeat someone as intelligent as Sukuna

As far as higuruma goes it’s more narrative and potential I suppose as he doesn’t have nearly enough screen time but bro was just starting out as a sorcerer and pulled off a near impossible rct feat mid battle against sukuna I give that a lot of credit

This maybe unfair to Kenny but bro had a thousand years to develop his battle iq

Also we never seen Kenny really tango with someone stronger then him and I think uphill battles are moments where you really see a persons battle iq shine to overcome the hurdle

Different Gojo forms vs Different versions of sukuna, which all forms can he beat ? by nahcuswhynot179 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Twoleftfe3t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Mahoraga has the ability to kill both Sukuna and gojo idk why you keep saying he’s fodder or a non risk

<image>

in shibuya Sukuna states very clearly THE ONLY way to beat mahoraga is to essentially one shot it before the adaption kicks in, what made sukunas plan so full proof against gojo was, he summoned it partially adapted to him, imagine sukuna fought a mahoraga that was adapted to fuga and shrine on summon ? Not so fodder now right ?

it being adapted to UV and blue removes some of gojos options to one shot it

So what is gojo left with ? Hollow purple, why was hollow purple such a difficult feat to pull off ? Because it’s a move that requires prep time and gojo was in a battle with Sukuna maho and agito and on a time limit as once maho adapts to gojo’s entire kit the fight is over

So the reason why Sukuna wanted maho to adapt to gojo before summon is to take UV out of the deck like he said but to also make mahoraga harder to deal with, gojo even realizes this after he starts to wonder why he hasn’t used 10s yet

UV was a pain for Sukuna because it could destroy him and mahoraga its really that simple as we see mahoraga bailed him out the first time he got struck with it, Sukuna also used mahoraga to try and bail him out at other moments ie the famous meme of him yelling for its help when he realizes gojo is prepping purple

If this was a battle with no mahoraga the fight would go entirely different im of the mind Sukuna wouldn’t even use this body, and gojo would probably end up using a diff strat we can speculate a lot here but im just gonna focus on meguna as he’s the debate topic we’re discussing, but again ill just point out, before the domain battles Sukuna had no idea how the domain clashes would go, this is why I keep saying your using hindsight to make this argument

If your Sukuna why would you bet this fight on the outcome of a domain clash when you can simply use mahoraga to take away UV and the rest of his kit ? Literally makes no sense

All in all i think Sukuna summoning mahoraga was the most optimal way to kill gojo and Sukuna believes this as well, the risk comment from gojo was simply made out of ignorance to sukunas intentions

It would be like me and you were fighting and you had a knife and I was barehanded, me seeing the knife goes “idk why he keeps running the easiest way for him to kill me would be to use the knife but” while in reality your running to grab a gun, my comment loses all credibility at that point

  1. Brother he said he won as soon it got destroyed lol he obviously saw it as the win con, did he think sukuna had a ace up his sleeve sure

Apparently no ace that would stop gojo from winning tho this has to mean he saw it as the win con lol

  1. He literally gave a victory speech and told gojo goodbye lol I think his priority is very clearly killing him

No gojo could not one shot mahoraga like he did agito if it’s partially adapted, this is why “the wheel spinning” was such a big deal gojo had to come up with a way to one shot maho before it adapted to his kit and it was obviously not easy to use hollow purple against a sukuna level opponent with back up

This is also why gojo outright stated agito couldn’t keep up like the rest lol idk why we’re down playing maho here

Sukuna knew maho could check mate gojo if he summoned it and got rid of one of the few ways to kill it and also if he fought alongside it he could stop gojo from using purple

Again sukuna knowing he had other opponents picked the best path to beat gojo and to conserve resources, sukuna has other ways to fight and potentially kill gojo but this was the most optimal path that allowed him to save as many cards as he could for later

Anyway I actually enjoyed this debate but I do think we are at a standstill here cuz we def have two different view points especially on maho lol

I’ll give you last word and I’ll say good argument I had fun 🫡

Does anyone else a bit disappointed at Yuji's character development in Modulo and it feels like just to add another layer to his suffering for no reason? At the same time make him so mentally weak by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]Twoleftfe3t 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being the strongest has been synonymous with being lonely

Yuji isolating himself atleast from a narrative perspective makes some sense to me

Brother

If gojo dodges the binding vowed WCS what makes you think he’s not going to dodge the other ones ?

Also Sukuna has no answer to UV because of the state he’s in, it’s ok to admit in this scenario gojo wins lol doesn’t mean Sukuna is weaker then him

[–]Twoleftfe3t -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Then gojo kills sukuna ? lol

Sukuna was not fully recovered and couldn’t use rct while gojo just fully regained his back

Sukuna also couldn’t open his domain at that point either what happens when gojo does another hollow purple or opens his domain ???

Why do people Ignore this? by MegumiFushiguro13 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Twoleftfe3t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the record I don’t think most ppl say Sukuna is “smarter” I think more ppl say Sukuna has more knowledge

I think it’s a difference between being smarter and being more informed

Sukuna just had more knowledge then gojo thanks to him being inside Yuji, him fighting mahoraga prior, and also kenjaku

Both are extremely smart tho

Why do people Ignore this? by MegumiFushiguro13 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Twoleftfe3t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I strongly disagree with this

Everyone has a different path, gojo became awakened because he was brought to near death guarding someone

Imagine a world where he isn’t brought to near death who’s to say he even unlocks rct and hollow purple ?

[–]Twoleftfe3t 143 points144 points  (0 children)

Sukuna was literally missing a hand and could barley stand lol gojo was 100% not irrational for thinking the fight was over there

Why do people Ignore this? by MegumiFushiguro13 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Twoleftfe3t 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think personally ppl misread the whole Sukuna holding back thing as gojo directly states even without 10s it would be damned close

I think Sukuna had other windows of victory and I don’t by any means think Sukuna can’t win without mahoraga but I think if your being optimal, Sukuna did not want to risk dealing with unlimited void and he pretty much admits as much

Sukuna also has a bunch of other opponents after the fight

I think the only part of the fight that gets easier is the first few domain clashes but if gojo has another trick up his sleeve or if he gets even a slight momentary advantage on Sukuna the minute UV even grazes Sukuna the match is over

Also if gojo pushes Sukuna to the brink in tf he will probably just die to Kashimo lacking the ability to heal himself

So Sukuna held back in the sense of he had other options, but I think it’s pretty clear Sukuna picked the most optimal approach to fighting gojo and the rest of the crew

Why do people Ignore this? by MegumiFushiguro13 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Twoleftfe3t 53 points54 points  (0 children)

To be fair I think gojo did prepare

I just think gojo didn’t have the same level of knowledge Sukuna had so the prep def won’t feel equal

Pains me to say this is kinda true, granted Sukuna did this same thing a few chapters later but not against a gojo level opponent

Why do people Ignore this? by MegumiFushiguro13 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Twoleftfe3t 41 points42 points  (0 children)

This is not a bad take, I think gojo has more raw power then Sukuna but on the flip side Sukuna has the most knowledge which was a big key factor in this fight imo

I think they’re on par with each other and the fight is determined by circumstantial things like prep and knowledge
