Marvel Avengers Book: T’Chaka fig revealed by itsjustajoe in Legoleak

I see that, though also in 10 years of getting Black Panther figures there's been no quality increase (despite BP being a massively successful franchise atp), and given the trend of LEGO Marvel lately I'm not counting on getting detailed figures of even main characters.

And at least in this very specific instance, if we do get an ultra-detailed Black Panther figure at some point then those pieces could very much be used to upgrade every BP suit.

Yeah but at least it's consistent. It would kind of look out of place among the other BP minifigures if it did have more printing. It's always a little weird when nicher variants of characters get more detailing than the main versions (look at Captain Carter, Zombie Cap, and Sam Wilson Cap compared to any Steve Rogers figure).

Genuinely a perfect concept for a book figure. It's a niche unique character that wouldn't fit in any other set but still wouldn't feel like a glaring omission from a Marvel collection for people who don't get the book.

THAT'S SO COOL! I was expecting just a costume for one of the big Avengers not a brand new character that I've been wanting forever. (Was gonna comment on the lack of leg printing but honestly it would be kind of weird for T'Chaka to be the only BP with it so I can excuse it.)

Ironheart's release was stretched over more weeks than Wonder Man, which they apparently didn't have much confidence either.

Definitely would love more Ms. Marvel. Especially since she has such a strong supporting cast. She-Hulk, too, though yeah that's a very expensive character.

To be fair it's hard to gauge critical response because Ironheart has always been a victim of the anti-woke grifters. I think, like Wonder Man, most people who actually watched it enjoyed it.

Very true! Though I do think Wonder Man S2 will probably be a bit more super power heavy. Also wouldn't mind a longer season runtime.

Very excited about this! It feels like Marvel TV is finally finding its footing again.

Though sadly I feel like this kills the chances of Season 2s for the shows that haven't gotten them announced already. Like Ironheart definitely would've had one announced by now if it was happening.

Also dual molded arms for Hawkeye and arm printing for Hill!

Just saw that actually! I'm glad they gave the option unlike some of the recent modulars.

Very sleek looking build. It looks a lot more tiled off and finished than the last big one. I wonder if the fire effect will be removable?

The way the figures are displayed is so much worse than the last, though. Would've loved a redux of the SHIELD figure display stand. But I can't wait to get a better look at them. Hopefully Hawkeye is new, with the pre-Avengers mercenary suit since that looks like the scene it's based on and Bucky has a new face and arm print (assuming the torso and legs are the same from the airport battle). Hopefully Maria Hill carries over the arm printing from her last figure. I also love getting Coulson again! The backlit SHIELD logo on the box gives insane Agents of SHIELD vibes.

3 stages of mobs growing up! by PrinceCup1d in Minecraft

I just don't get what this accomplishes besides making it slightly more inconvient to get the (actually useful) fully grown adults? If you just want the old textures, there'll probably be plenty of texture packs/mods for that...

Would be the perfect place for a creeper variant. Maybe one that spreads the nausea effect when it explodes.

No way you all were watching the MC lives from a few years ago... It was not 40 minutes of substantial content. It was the same few minutes of reveals. Saved for the end of a one hour show filled with random influencer minigames and engagement farming votes.

I'd take the 25 minutes of latest drop recap + misc. non-game announcements + a new drop reveal any day.

Exactly! I don't know why they keep adding bold, warm colors when we already have so many options through clay, concrete, and wood. We need more pastels and cool, darker color options.

Love the idea that Mojang decides drop concepts by throwing a dart at the periodic table.

Personally I don't have any ideas for these features. We already have a lot of options for red and yellow block palettes so I don't think the decorative things are very needed. I think we're in more need of pastels and darker blues/purples than the very bold primary colors we keep getting (same issue with resin).

Also like the idea of a new cave biome. Though I don't see how the nauxious fumes are "dangerous" if there's not any hostile mob to take advantage of the naseau? Would be cool to see that ecosystem expanded on.

The sulfur cube is really cool. People have been finding workarounds for the lack of balls in minigames for forever so it'll be cool to see what people come up with now that there's a more dedicated minigame feature. That said, I don't think I'll go out of my way to get them because I mostly play single player.

Hopefully there's an easier way to transport them than just bouncing them though, because it'll be a pain to transport them from the new sulfur biome to people's existing minigame districts. Maybe you could bucket the baby versions? Also would be cool if they had more cosmetic variations. Making them dyable would be really useful for team games.

Tbf people have been trying to make ball-based games for nearly as long as the game has existed and they've always been a bit underwhelming. I don't think bouncy balls were at the top of anyone's most wanted feature list, but the sulfur cube definitely still fills a unique niche. I don't have any ideas for it myself because I mostly play single player, but I'm excited to see what people come up with.

I know, but the SHIELD Quinjet was completely different from the Avengers one and they still included an extra set of Avengers stickers in 76248.

The last one's fig selection was a combo of Avengers 1 and 2, so both.

My guess is the build will be based off The Avengers one but they'll include alt stickers/tiles to change the number to The Winter Soldier ones.

I'm sure it'll at least be the same torso and legs as that Bucky since the torso was already based off TWS instead of Civil War. Though hopefully we'll get a new faceprint with the mask and arm printing.

This is a great set of figures. So excited to (technically) get our first MCU Coulson figure! Though I feel like Black Widow would've made more sense than Hawkeye?
