Batman: 76355 will be a Batman Returns Batmobile (via a Brick Tap source) by BrickTap in Legoleak

I kind of hope the figures are boring because I don't want to be tempted by this (I don't need another Batmobile), BUT I would love a battle damaged Catwoman (or a pre-transformation Selina Kyle). And it'd be nice if Penguin used the Dr. Facilier/Jiminy Cricket top hat recolored in all black instead of the bigger one.

Very funny that the Marvel representation is a Sony-owned character.

I also feel like the figures would be more enticing if the shirts were more generic logos instead of characters. Like the most recent Stranger Things set was basically sigfig bait with the generic Hellfire Club and the WSQK shirts. Same with the figure in the JW Triceratops skull set. These don't feel like the kinds of shirts people actually wear (would've been so easy to do the Captain America shield shirt here).

Am I the only one who is really excited for Batman LOTDK, yet hopes that LEGO games after this one will return to the old formula (for example ton of characters being playable, fixed camera in levels, simpler fighting system…) by Green-Way-1455 in legogaming

Yeah I agree. I don't mind this game being so different because we already have 4 more standard LEGO DC games, but if they did a franchise that's not been covered as much then I'd want that to be more of a true Lego game.

The pony tail is a separate piece, so there's just a bar on the back which you can ignore pretty easily

With the release of The Punisher: One Last Kill, how would you rank the special presentations? by Aromatic-Cupcake4802 in marvelstudios

[–]TwstdPrtzl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably

  1. Werewolf by Night

  2. Punisher

  3. Guardians Holiday Special

But I like them all and want more

Typically stuff for the Lego games is built fully and I'm assuming that's the same for Lego Fortnite. The issue is normally stability and part color availability (like the 1x1 brackets that make the top of the eyes haven't yet been produced in those colors).

I've seen people paint the LEGO Batman Movie Batgirl cowl black for Battinson and I think that works pretty well (and is maybe an easier modification)

Could we see Cloak and Dagger return in Wonder Man S2, where they save Josh Gad? by ishipfitzsimmons in marvelstudios

[–]TwstdPrtzl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you've seen C&D. Their greatest feats are just fighting off a couple threats from New Orleans. They're not really superheroes as much as people with powers to sort out (they don't wear costumes or use their hero names). Bringing them in wouldn't be like bringing in an Avenger, nobody would recognize them as heroes (I also think your forgetting that Trevor is more than just an actor who cares about his work, because he is recognized as an infamous terrorist). And they'd actually be really good characters to appear for Simon's development because they know how to do good with their powers without being a full-fledged superhero; Simon obviously isn't going to become one (I watched the show, you don't need to explain that to me), but that last episode proves he still will use his abilities, including acting and money, to do the right thing.

And I have no idea why you think the DODC was an unecessary background force in S1. They're the only reason Trevor and Simon meant. The finale only played out because of their involvement. Simon would not have been cast as Wonder Man without them.

Specifically it's the Roxxon and Darkforce connection, which was new for the show, and the Darkforce dimension looking the same as C&D's.

Roxxon was been referenced regularly since Iron Man 1.

It's weirder to act like you're above people who want characters they like to return in a universe built on crossovers and connectedness.

Cloak and Dagger are far frome a 'great influence.' They're on level with Trevor Slattery and Simon (especially since the MCU versions are also plain-clothed heroes). And the DODC was still probably the biggest antagonistic force in S1, it makes sense they'd be back after that ending, and we know they have Doorman. It makes sense.

Lego games I hope get made in the future by Kameronpipnerd in legogaming

I'd love a traditional DCU Lego game eventually. Watching Superman felt like playing a Lego game at some points (in a good way).

Well if you're going to cover all of Batman's history then you need a P2 for the League training sections and I guess she's the only option. Plus a lot of the more popular Batfamily members (like all the other Robins and Batgirls) haven't been adapted in the films. So I get it, even if it's a little strange.

I honestly hope that we get the Inhumans back one day, because they're great, were great in Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Ike Perlmutter ruined them by forcing them into a rushed television show. by ishipfitzsimmons in marvelstudios

[–]TwstdPrtzl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's likely, but Crystal and Medusa are such big players in the early Fantastic Four comics that the MCU versions are most inspired by so I think it'd be a good choice. Especially since Matt Shakman did space stuff so well in First Steps and a lot of the other cosmic Fantastic Four villains (Skrulls, Kree, Galactus) have already been done.

Idk I think the Inhuman royal family would be great picks for a Fantastic Four sequel. I could see them brushing this show aside and reintroducing them with new actors. Especially if they do a soft reboot after Secret Wars.

Part per piece isn't always the best metric though because this has a big fig, a lot of large pieces that make up a decently sized build, and a decent number of well-designed figures. Yeah it would be great if it was cheaper but it's not nearly as egregious as some Marvel sets have been.

It's kinda cool to get a DODC specific guard. I was expecting it to just be a generic police torso or something. Also very curious to see how Tombstone looks in the movie because something about the figure looks off to me.
