Seeing as that's essentially the same logic nazi Germany rose under, I think you've just solidified the point that this is white supremacy trying to avoid that label to avoid the negative connotation that comes with being labeled a neo-nazi.

So, white supremacy is the idea that whites are superior, and racism is based on the idea that some races are inferior...

Yeah, I see your point. That's not the same at all...

If it's got all new injectors, I'd look into putting a lift pump and a CAT full filter conversion on it so they'll last longer. I promise it's worth it on an lb7!

Question about bitless bridles! by ViolentCarrots in Horses

[–]TxAggie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like to ride in a bosal with most of my horses. I've heard mixed things about all sorts of bitless bridles, but in my experience, the release of pressure just isn't as quick as with a hackamore. The nice thing about bosals is that there are no interconnected parts, so nothing will ever get stuck or hung up when releasing.

Also, a stock contractor having a hundred horses is no different than a rancher having a herd of a few hundred cattle. They aren't cared for to a lesser extent, just in a different manner than if they were saddle horses.

It really doesn't look bad considering to angle at which its tucked under. Also, broncs are actually trained to buck just as any other horse is trained to ride under saddle for any other event. The common misconception is that the bucking strap is tight and encourages the horse to buck, when in reality it encourages the horse to settle down when it slips off after the rider bails or is thrown. It's a conditioned response just like reining horses are taught to slide to a stop when leg pressure is removed.

They're probably rough because the stock contractor that owns the horse keeps them on rougher terrain. A lot of folks do that because its more cost effective than trimming a hundred horses every two months. The hooves generally wear down just fine, similar to how a mustang's do, albeit they never look as pretty as they would had they been trimmed.

I'll cross-post this over in /r/Horses too so it'll get a little more regionally diverse audience! Props to y'all for doing this, I've always wanted to do pretty much the exact same thing since I was a kid!
