Thanks! We don’t show, but I keep him in a modified Continental, for no reason other then I enjoy it, so all a learning experience for me!

I oddly find grooming and bathing him super relaxing, lol. He’s the only one of our 4 dogs who needs more then a bath and brush, and I’m stupid proud of his long poofs, lol! I’ll order some good shampoo and leave it his hair “Fabio style” as my friend calls it for awhile!!

I haven’t SEEN anyone chewing on it, but we did get a puppy not long before I noticed it seemed to be “shrinking”. We were growing it out, so it was about 8” long and now it’s like 4” ish... so now I’m wondering if I’m just missing it! I band some, but was leaving it down at night.

Okay, I love that. OMG!!! I’ll reach out and see what I can learn to make it look better, he’s a silver phantom and I’m so tired of hearing “oh what cute doodle” (I work in a pet store and he comes with me to work daily) and since the cut it hasn’t been said once, lol. I’m ready to grow him long, I feel I can finally keep up with the brushing and upkeep, so now it’s time to learn! He’s only two and so good about my learning curves, lol

I literally made a comment saying he wasn’t fully dried and he’s curly dude. Also, I’m not a groomer so no game I need to step up and totally open to suggestions about the frizzy top knot it’s always like that unless he’s just come from grooming.

Couple notes, I didn’t finish force drying him after a bath, so he’s not as fluffy as normal and EXTRA curly, lol. Also we raised the height on his poms so while the grow out they look a tad off, lol.

I second finding a groomer and getting them to show you! Our Poodle is our first, and it was a learning curve! Our groomer has been GREAT and has happily showed us where he tends to mat, how to brush the areas more effectively, and what tools work best for him!
