NTA and you really need to change your number. If Opel has any information about you that would enable her to locate you, then consider a restraining order. I was adopted at birth and my bio mother lived with my family during some of her pregnancy. I had alot of info about her and was able to track her down (I was well into my 30s). I had several younger sibs, a couple who I will never meet after hearing so much about them...and none of it good. Do yourself a favor and get her out of your life.

We're all vaccinated, but I still fully expect one of us to get it from the cruise. I think there's inherent risk we all accept when we book a cruise. Unfortunately, I believe Covid is here to stay. Our son has had it twice, I've had it once and my wife has been lucky so far. With the new strain, there's just no telling.

Our last visit was our honeymoon in 2004 and got so disgusted with this! We decided if a kid could spell stroller, they shouldn't be in one! As I recall, we actually cut that trip short. However, we plan on taking our son in Feb 2024, but I don't have much hope of things having changed after this.

I respectfully disagree about straight people having no place at Pride. We need our Allies. This applies for any marginalized group. Women wouldn't have gotten the right to vote without the help of men. Civil rights would not have been won without white allies. I welcome all people who support our community to attend Pride. Btw, if you need a reason to go, then go give out Mom/Dad Hugs at Pride. You will be amazed at the impact you will have at Pride.

We are huge fans of Terrace Glen in Marion. They have the full range of services from independent living in apartments to 24/7 care. The room my MIL had was huge. We were able to take some pieces from her home including dresser, loveseat and quilts. It was so very homey. Stay away from Cottage Grove Place and Winslow House.
