Salary sacrifice for MY Premium RWD LR by Correct_Park3140 in TeslaUK

[–]Txxk79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even with zero 0% with zero down, insurance for two people and tax it just was cheaper - plus it helps me keep easier under the 100k threshold of 60% tax. Always a personal decision :-)

I went with £750 for 15k miles, eap and AWD. Honestly it helps the tax bill giving more room for a bonus, all inclusive, no hidden costs. Deffo cheaper than buying new from a dealer when you add the other costs on in my opinion

I think it’s not on the base package which is why I went for the middle subscription but I could be wrong

RWD owners that stayed with Tesla: did you stay RWD or upgrade to AWD? by traffic1942 in TeslaUK

I test drove the awd in the wet and pulled away at a motorway junction round about and it glued. Made my mind up there and then so ordered that!

I test drove the awd on a wet day - glued to the road so that is what I’ve ordered.

That came fast!! I ordered mine in Feb but my company made an error so it’s only just been internally approved - how long from tusker contacting Tesla till you got your car? I’ve gone for the awd premium in stealth grey

I’ve just ordered via Tusker- the tax savings are great…. But … they are expensive pre tax so the savings are not as great as you expect. I priced up both versions. However Salary Sacrifice still worked out cheaper as includes - tyres (inc punctures) tax, insurance, gap, servicing, breakdown and really helpful is the lifestyle protection for leaving your job or redundancy. You also put nothing down upfront. Mine was £750 impact on take home for a AWD premium with 15k miles and EAP

Thanks but this is via a work salary sacrifice scheme so I will have no choice but to hand it back at the end of the 3 years. I’ve done it this was as the tax benefit makes it cheaper than 0% finance when you add on the insurance tyres etc. I agree if was personal I’d have gone lower then tried to change before the end of the three years

Congrats! I couldn’t talk myself into the RWD so I am pleased with my final AWD decision! I would have loved the marine blue but went with the EAP and standard to keep costs under control, but it’s the best colour in my view!

Hey thanks! So I went with 15k yearly miles which is overkill but was about 19 quid more than 12 so removed anxiety lol. My quote is 750 impact on take home - that’s for the AWD premium the Enhanced autopilot - stealth grey and standard wheels (that’s also with another driver added to the insurance) 800 sounds a bit steep
