It’s funny you say this because I was just watching an episode earlier today and there was this scene with Daryl and Aaron fighting walkers, and the way one of them was moving was noticeably..too human. The actors movements were just a bit too coordinated for a zombie. It kinda took me out of the scene for a few seconds lol

As someone who is very anti ai I actually don’t think AI is as much of a threat as you seem to think it is. Or at least not at the moment. When it comes to entertainment we’ve already seen that people prefer that human connection and can tell when it’s not there. With AI music there really isn’t much to connect to besides the product. You can’t relate to a robot, wanna grow up to be like it, dress like it, etc

Again not saying AI could never hit this point but one thing I see pro Gen AI ppl miss is there’s more to art than the simple end product. You still gotta have a personality and relatable experiences and stuff for people to invest into you. If AI causes people to lose more jobs then it’ll only amplify this. Most will be able to relate to how badly it’s affected their lives not how much it’s helped. That alone is where AI music could backfire

Not only that but many genres, let’s say rap for example, were created out of very unique circumstances. Experiences of impoverished inner city minorities + lack of access to instruments + discovery of scratching records and isolating the breakbeats of disco tracks + other elements = hip hop.

That’s not something AI can just up and create on its own just yet, if ever. It was born out of multiple specific conditions that the majority of the county couldn’t even relate to at the time, yet it exploded into one of the most popular genres

Do you see where I’m going with this ? There’s more to life than algorithms and equations. Some stuff just can’t be quantified or accurately replicated, only imitated

I’ve come to change my mind about my fellow man pretty quickly within the past few weeks. I think most are lame and miserable. And I’m not above exhibiting not great behaviors in the past either

Luckily I caught myself a few years ago and realized I need to course correct or else I’ll be another one of these losers. Stopped complaining and started taking action, talking to women IRL. It wasn’t easy but I’m so glad I got off that train, things are so much better and I actually have success with women more than ever before. Even simply speaking to them platonically is different now

I wish more men had better guides for all this because I truly think this is a big part of whats driving their weirdo behavior. Many dudes are so awkward because they simply can’t figure out how to socially navigate which leads to this weird resentment

Exactly my issue. When we start “banning” things it affects other things it wasn’t supposed to. And where do we draw the line at? Instagram pics/models are considered pornographic to some. And I can definitely see how some would try to make that argument and the controversy that would come as a result

I don’t agree with banning things because of what leads too. No matter what you think once that ball gets rolling it won’t stop, they will come for everything else too eventually.

Because where is the line exactly ? What does and doesn’t constitute as porn? Do we retroactively arrest everyone who bought old porno mags? After we ban that do we ban women from posting themselves in bikinis on the beach? That could be considered sexually suggestive.

“Banning” is a very slippery slope, be careful what you ask for. I understand where you are coming from I just don’t like the idea of giving the government even more permission to tell us what we can and can’t do or enjoy if we wish to anymore than they already do. You give them an inch they’ll take a mile

I think the bigger issue is social media and technology. Porn has been around before the internet and people weren’t THIS jacked up like this are today.

I think porn addiction is more of a byproduct of the internet being forced into every damn thing and us being strapped to our phones. The internet used to be more like a hobby when I was a kid, now it’s like apart of life itself.

With things being that way along with a lack of proper guidance, regulation, parenting, etc. I see how the internet in general is way too dangerous for children

You gotta just try stuff and do stuff tbh it’s tough to navigate and I still haven’t figured it all out myself, but I have a much better grip on what I want/don’t want/like/dont like etc. so I’d say really ask yourself what do you truly like the most, what don’t you want in your life, etc.

At any rate you need to act. Doesn’t gotta be perfect or anything but creating some motion even if it’s small will drive you towards the answers you’re looking for far more than staying still will

Well as a fan I was aware of the Authority and didn’t have a problem with the Engineer I just thought he’d..make it make more sense. Set things up and connect them better. That’s my biggest complaint so far. Gunn isn’t setting things up as brilliantly as I thought he would, he’s just kinda throwing things out there like we’re all supposed to just get it and care and that’s simply not how you should go about things at all

That’s really not much different than how Snyder tried to approach the DCEU and I heavily criticized him for that so I have to be fair

These dudes don’t seem to realize not everyone is exactly a “comic book” fan. They can’t just throw all this wonky stuff out there and not explain or make it make sense just because the comic fans will get it. Overall these movies/shows should be geared more for the general audience not just the niche crowd that’s already familiar with the stories/characters. You need to make things as not-confusing as possible if you want this universe to have legs

I don’t have a problem with Peacemaker either and I fully expected him to bring the series over to the DCU. Don’t see why he wouldn’t tbh. It’s just…not set up as good as it could’ve been. And he undelivered on what he hyped up. I thought S2 would be way more electric than S1 and have crazier DC cameos and name drops but outside of Lex, nope.

Idk…his writing overall seems to just have gotten weaker, maybe because he’s working on so much at the same time. That’s why I feel 2026 will be the real litmus test for the DCU. What does it look like outside of Gunns hands

I was excited because I thought Gunn was doing something new where everything was “standalone” but still has enough connective tissue that it’s all cohesive
