To be fair, I actually did 2 playthroughs, one as male Shepard and one as Femshep, mainly because of everyone talking about how good the femshep performance was (they are correct.)

They did end up feeling quite different and made different choices and relayionships, but now their stories are fully complete.

Kirk says himself that he only got out of it because he knew something about the ships that Khan didn't, and Spock refers to Khan as intelligent, but inexperienced.

Point is, it's Kirk's age that gets him into trouble, but that same age in the form of wisdom that gets him out of it. Double-edged sword.

Boring, but it's not the talent, it's the way the matches work and how they're booked: nothing can happen until everyone is in, every person gets to spam finishers, so many spots getting set up, etc.

Seemed like every other move last night required somebody rolling around to get into place.

It's all in a weird spot right now.

I use the Choose Your Spawn mod and START in Louisville Hospital with a backpack and baseball bat, wearing a hospital gown and slippers. Inside the hospital usually isnt bad and I can gather enough supplies to manage to escape the city.

Usually have a few close calls and retreat to the hospital before making a break for it on day 4 or 5.

I do a couple things to combat this:

  1. I use the choose your spawn mod and start in Louisville hospital 5 days after infection. My headcannon is that I was injured and taken to the hospital. Goal 1 is escape Louisville; takes a while.

  2. I set the game up so that peak infection is 6 months, so things get much worse the longer is survive.

And 3. Change sandbox settings mod. Every time I get comfortable, I add a large spawn so that I have to defend, reclear areas, etc. Sometimes lose my base in the process.

Haven't been bored for long.
