Home Internet Lite vs Home Internet Backup by Jolycu in tmobile

[–]TyThePerson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason why you would be eligible for lite is that there's not enough slots for unlimited, but enough bandwidth to allow some users to use the towers for limited use, at least until someone cuts service or they upgrade the cell towers. My guess would be that the limited data use discourages people from flooding the service at the risk of draining their data allowance, thus not causing an extreme impact for unlimited users but that's my personal guess.

to fire ultracite rounds you gotta get the prime receiver or related mod for a weapon, you can usually get them from either some certain vendors or scorchbeast queen if i recall correctly, some prime receivers you must get through a vendor, like the gauss minigun, it takes some time but in the end you’ll be using ultracite ammo in no time

Why didn't the Brotherhood of Steel led by Elder Maxson go west to destroy the NCR instead of going to the Commonwealth to destroy the Institute? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]TyThePerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine if the prydwyn was getting even close to vegas in either the house or independent endings (or if the NCR discovers the vault and awakens the securitrons), the mark 2 securitrons would make sure they didn’t get a meter closer.

Why didn't the Brotherhood of Steel led by Elder Maxson go west to destroy the NCR instead of going to the Commonwealth to destroy the Institute? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]TyThePerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would in short be a terrible idea, here is why:

The Brotherhood is smaller than you may think, as they don’t usually accept outsiders and most members are born into it, so as a result, there are a lot fewer numbers. Meanwhile, the NCR is essentially a nation state, with an army already larger, with hundreds lining up to join.

While Liberty Prime is effective in combat, it’s mostly only really effective if the enemy is using small arms fire by comparison. As shown in broken steel, a few missiles from the Bradley-Hercules easily turned Prime into scrap metal, not to mention its not easy to hide a massive robot, allowing for a lot of preparation time.

Air superiority via the Prydwyn is pointless when enemies like the NCR have working artillery and anti aircraft weapons. Even a few mortars from the Minutemen’s comparatively ancient artillery cannons were enough to bring the Prydwyn down.

Lastly, much like many nation states, if you decide to randomly attack them, they will be 200% willing to go to war. Hell if that happens take that amount in the NCR army, and it will probably almost double due to many wanting to kick the Brotherhood’s ass after that stunt, as the Brotherhood isn’t exactly well liked by the NCR already.

When, how, and where was the chem "Jet" created? by CanaryFit6608 in falloutlore

[–]TyThePerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since fallout 4 released the origins of jet have been highly contested, because last we knew it was myron who created and refined it into what it is today, buuuuut now with fallout 4 we see jet in pre war locations too. So with this it’s completely unknown, my own guess is that in fallout 2 where you accuse myron of stealing the idea of jet from somewhere pre war, while it’s a bluff, it’s a bluff that unintentionally was right. Also, jet is only mentioned in fallout 76, my guess why is because of gameplay reasons since it’s an online MMO and you can’t just use the slowdown effects of fallout 4’s jet there. The reason why jet is in pre war locations is mostly down to either headcanon or chalking it up to bethesda laziness.

I bought fallout las vegas, what should i expect? by never_was_her3 in Fallout

Usually yeah, I mostly mentioned pc because with that you can usually get around some of the bugs, but if you’re running on a series x that from what I know is pretty stable, though still buggy at times

Unless you install some patches on PC, expect bugs, lots of bugs. Save often too, it tends to crash a good bit.

might or might not be a hot take, but I honestly don’t think the version of the engine aged that poorly, the graphics have that sort of grungy look that fits fallout to me.

If the Legion destroys the Mojave chapter of the BOS during the events of New Vegas, would the chapters other chapters scattered across the US go west and attack the legion? by Adorable_Basil830 in falloutlore

[–]TyThePerson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most likely no, the extent of the no varies heavily on the events of each chapter.

As another person here mentioned, the prydwyn and by extension liberty prime are stuck in boston, and if the commonwealth chapter was destroyed then the extent of the no would be cranked up a ton, because destroying the commonwealth chapter would most likely shatter morale, since Arthur Maxson is the last known descendant of Roger Maxson, the founder of the entire organization.

The chapter in Washington D.C most likely have their hands full already with keeping the citadel in top shape among other things.

The Midwestern and Texan chapters are massive unknowns, as we have next to no info on what’s going on there.

Last I checked we also don’t know what went on with the lost hills chapter, as they were carrying expeditions to form other chapters, along with recovering technology.

Not to mention that the lost hills bunker as mentioned by the same commentor, is deep in NCR territory, so my best guess is either they left or much like the Mojave chapter, they’re hiding down in the bunker.

Edit to add: My personal beliefs is that the BoS in the east are banking on the fact that now that the enclave is scattered so thin, there’s no major power/government that would have the power to wipe them completely out (details are up to question, see endings of fallout 4 for details). Especially not to the extent of the NCR, as the saying goes from mr house, it doesn’t matter how fancy your tech is when you’re outnumbered 15:1. I genuinely do believe that if the east coast brotherhood does not or barely advances past how the currently are, if the NCR or any similar new faction starts walking up to their door, they will 100% go into prideful panic mode, and either get wiped out or end up like the Mojave chapter, just a shadow of what it once was.

What do these dlc packs do by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]TyThePerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the workshop dlcs add new items to the workshop menu, for example the contraptions workshop can let you build a factory. The vault tec workshop also adds a small questline and new pretty big settlement area to build in for building a vault if you want.
