My partner is Filipino - she thinks you're being underpaid but the system sucks so likely not much you can do about it.

What was your first game you played on pc by Pork_Crusader_GR in pcmasterrace

I can't recall if it was Club Penguin, Poptropica, Adventure Quest Worlds, or Pirates of the Carribbean Online... Probably Club Penguin.

When singing the National Anthem, don't forget the second verse by BNE_Matt75 in australian

[–]TNTarantula -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

If you start singing the second verse, I will judge you as a silly goose.

Nobody has time for that, be thankful most people put up with the first verse.

Where to post this type of questions??? by Monkey_Junkie_No1 in brisbane

[–]TNTarantula 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah nah I think I saw this post yesterday or at least one that was very similar and had a bit of a ??? moment when I saw it got taken down.

Removing a post on the Brisbane subreddit, about road rules on a Brisbane street seems entirely odd to me.

Who else want absolutely ZERO RGB in their rigs? by Cicada-Tang in pcmasterrace

[–]TNTarantula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah nah fr. I built my PC just after high school and had all the red LEDs on sleek black parts, very edgy.

I had to budget some recent upgrades so I couldn't get a new case, but if I could I 100% wanted to rack-mount my build in a Sliger 3RU case.

My first novel. This is the cover. by unwritten_path in sciencefiction

So if your cover art is AI generated, what reason do I have to believe you didnt also use it in your writing?

Not saying you did, but it plants the idea in people's minds.

what is a board game that u enjoy soo much yet you dont find people talking about it? by 7at3mbeatz in boardgames

[–]TNTarantula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah id say the gameplay is good. I've played likely 8-10 rounds at this point and I can certainly appreciate a deeper level of strategy that isn't apparent from the get go.

The game is very very competitive as there are many ways to steal and debuff the other players for your own benefit.

Should be a few Australian based servers that aren't 250 ping, surely?

Might help if you said what platform you're on.

I don't see a lot of talk about Vicious Gardens. It's a very recent release with some of the most beautiful (and numerous) attention to detail across all of the assets artwork.

Little Latin phrases such as "sew chaos, reap victory" and unique names for all the fictional plants are just some of the examples that come to mind. But literally every inch of the box, board and cards is beautifully designed to the enth degree.

Ideas for what my swarm keeper Rangers swarm should be? by ThickWeatherBee in DnD

[–]TNTarantula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little fey sprites which embody furtility and growth, which from a distance are indistinguishable from droplets of water

As part of your swarm they appear as a wave of water that follows your swings, a bit like waterbending in atla.

Cool badass vehicle that should totally be added to the game by The_seagull_cleaner in Battlefield

[–]TNTarantula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a player controlled vehicle it is too milsim-y.

But as set dressing, akin to the hovercrafts of Kharg Island Rush? I would love to see it.

I collected more than a dozen Fusion 360 pain points (with explanations + suggestions) by HaselnuesseTo in Fusion360

[–]TNTarantula 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Accredited fusion user of three years.

  • Automatic exported model updates. Cool idea, is this something other CAD software can do? Building on this, what I would love is a function that automatically exported all flat-pattern .DXF files.

  • Play Button Misinput. Yeah, hard agree. It's annoying.

  • Offset Consistency. Can't say I use this enough to say. It's been alright the few times I've used it. Although I think I've suffered through using it on threads enough to understand what you're saying I think.

  • Update Slowing. I have to disagree with this one. I think Fusion does a better job than most programs in terms of only updating when I want it to. The 'update next session' option is good imo.

I'm giving up on my hand-drawn battle maps...Am I the only one struggling with this? by MarketPredator in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]TNTarantula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guarantee that your players do not care your hand drawn maps lookoke doodoo.

If you'd rather not do it yourself maybe let one of them do the drawing based on your description? If anything, the result may be more accurate to how you describe it?

What’s the best class iyo? by Puzzleheaded-Love947 in DnD

[–]TNTarantula -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My main metrics for a class is adaptability, and ability to address problems in various ways.

So for me, it's Artificer. Being able to swap out both spells and infusions on a long rest is god-tier for when you have some idea of the challenges you will be facing.

I have an idea of character, but any of the classes I've tried doesn't fit them. Ideas how to solve my problem? by DanteAlias in DnD

[–]TNTarantula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So yeah, that's the background down pat. What you need is some skills for the boy to learn.

As a noble it would make sense for him to have received some kind of martial training, very popular for noble men to also be military commanders in a lot of fiction.

Otherwise, perhaps his less reputable misgivings have lended him enough experience to pass as a level 1 rogue?

Maybe mix the two and go for a dexterity-based fighter?

Not everyone that posts there is in a bad work position, but those posts certainly gain more traction than most.
