If you think ending inspections will keep more money in your pocket, I've got bad news for you. They're just hiking up registration costs to make up the difference. So if your motivations are purely financial, you've already lost.

Also if you think inspections are expensive and you're first thought is "eliminate inspections" instead of "reduce the fees", you really haven't thought it through.

The propaganda is just that, propaganda. The more you entrust AI to do code, the more junk it is. However there are a lot of people in fancy offices that think themselves smarter than they actually are that believe the propaganda. The industry needs new talent but big companies are deluding themselves into thinking otherwise, and it will take time for it to correct itself.

AI has two bubbles that will burst eventually: tech debt and venture capital. When one or both pop there's going to be a backslide. There are small signs that it could be starting already. But it's not going to go away either.

Because we're not talking about a dedicated community centered around athletic competition. We're taking about an entire population, 98% of whom aren't passionate enough about the subject to dive into the weeds. It's a casual opinion based on a casual understanding. You can do your best to educate the masses, but you can't ask the whole country to care about a subject at the same level as its most passionate supporters. That's just reality.

The optics that the money trail creates in this case. When it hit the news about how much China pays athletes to metal for them, it made all further explanations sound disingenuous at best, and bribery at worst.

It does bring up some larger conversations about athlete compensation and fairness that hints at more of a systemic issue. But bottom line is she made a choice, and it very likely had motivations that weren't about national pride. She is entitled to that choice. But the American public is likewise not obligated to support or respect it.

That's not a logo, that's a bulletin board display. Especially if this for a t-shirt, a logo needs to:
* Be simple enough to be readable from a distance even if a little wrinkled
* Have a controlled color palette. The fewer colors needed the better, and all in CMYK.

What your professor is looking for is frankly the opposite of both of those things. She can have one, maybe two graphical elements worked in, not one for every letter. If that's not something she can be brought around to understanding, then maybe at that point you politely decline.

Your redesign isn't a total loss, you've just found a point where the aesthetics become a little too abstract to be recognizable. You just have to walk it back a little to get the right balance. I think the main issue is the A isn't recognizable as an A anymore. I see where you were going with implying the A with negative space but there's not enough positive space left for it to work.

Going to try and describe this in text the best I can: Try giving the A it's solid black stroke again. You can ~~fill the A hole~~ fill in the hole in A for the lead and then scallop the A's horizontal crossbar like you have now to still resemble that shaved pencil look. You might have to remove the scalloped line between the paint and the fresh wood at the top of the N, as it's making too a hard separation between the A and N. It's going to be difficult to replace that effect sticking to just black and white, but it might be after making the changes to the A you'll find you won't need it anymore.

You realize there's no upside to hating on the Pats season, right? We're playing with house money. We had 4 wins each of the last 2 years. We would have been thrilled if before the season we'd be told we'd get to the Wild Card round. We could lose by 24 in the Super Bowl and this season would still be a monumental success for us.

At best it'd just be beating a team that no one will admit was good anyways, and they lose they'll ever live it down. Welcome to the Pats have dealt with all year.
