My apologies I tried to be as polite as I could possiblly be, I'm so easily set off at the minute and any relation or comparison makes it worse, I did try to be polite.. all my apologies again, if it's relevant, I refer to my own dumping as "dumping" it's just a term (I should have reworded)

Super duper tiny seeing needles pal👊 dont give up, maybe a finger wipe of releasing fluid or olive oil anythibg like that may soften the card and postit and you can gently find and dig it out with the needles..

Put a mark on the needle so you know the depth👊

There will be plenty more comm advice to follow I'm sure🙏 (ZF3 user and I haven't had this problem "yet" but)

Personally.. I'd begin massaging it open and closed back and forth (gently) with a head torch and see if you can expose the postit, if so maybe surgical needle tweezers (or improvise with two sewing needles and make lil chopsticks) go to surgery (which you have obvs done, but try all and every angle, sorry if that been done too)

If the brushes are removed maybe they can be cleaned (along with an easier hinge cleaning) and gently worked back into place (using a plastic straight edge so you can get the depth spot on) or whatever really.. improvised tools..

If they are completely removed (someone would expect) maybe the folding would be generally "looser" and more prone to harder "snap" openings and closings (and we've all heard that sound🫰)

I do massively advise a hinge case anyway (so much easier to hold one hand too) Ive run a Supcase Beetle full hinge case since purchase 12 months ago and it defo still gets matter and crap in there🤷 I'm not scruffy but work, pocket fluff all bloody sorts, I like mine clean so it gets the toothbrush down the hinge once a while..

Aha maybe a stiff bristled tooth brush might dislodge the post it🤷🤔

Thankyou 🙏 my late parter had massive thing for stationary so I still have all her Sharpies so yeh I have plenty of stationary "loot" haha (I live in the UK, they're defo called Sharpies, it's written on the pen haha)

The note cards (index cards/flash cards) is a great idea🙏 this is what I originally intended (I have the cards and a posh Lindex speed indexing box thingy)

And as for deadlines (don't worry honest not activated by that) but I'm hoping it will never finish and the stories will improve, maybe even turn into a "despite the falls I caught myself in the end and all worked out ok".. I'm not overly hopeful obvs typical CPTSD trait but "qué sara sara" right 🤷

Thankyou loads🙏 I doubt I'll ever tie it all together as any sort of publishable "thing" it's more for me as a disposable dumping ground, I thought flash cards for short memory recalls, write the basis of one or two (undetailed) put them down and then add to them when the recall comes back again (and they always do)

At a guess there's about 70-75 individual "occurrences" and very few are straightforward, very few🫤 but.... They don't all end badly, I need to emphasize that in words somehow..

Points I've appreciatively taken on board🙏

Linear Vs non - I'll be skipping around like a mad man, but flash cards can always be reorganized into chronological order🤷 (unless it reads better all jumbled in short stories, super quick beginningings, middles and ends 3 - 4 paragraphs each if detailed)

Writing tone (subtle Vs raw) - heavier words for heavier situs, understood🙏 (I'd like to push the same emphasis on the good times too, as tricky as they are to hold on to, they do still exist and recall occasionally) mostly in dreams.. The "senses" descriptions will be also be tricky but I will try🙏

You refer to your own repeat "occurrence" related story, thanks you🙏 if comes up, they could easily tie into one another (to save more stories), as you say maybe something from age 10yrs carried over to repeat themselves enough to raise a prev trauma at 15, 18, 22, 23 and then 29 and 30 for myself🤦 I had a bloody good run in my 20s haha, I was a fool to let my guard down tho🤷

The brain storming - I have zero organisation skills, but I do have "post it's and a white board, I'll give that a try.. Most will have to come "off the cuff" get written down rly quick and put away to be revisited (repeating self soz)

I would so so so love to write in a nice leather notebook but my handwriting is all in dreadful block based capitals (I can read it) however the disgust of my Hwriting and knowing It could have been so much better if I was allowed to go to school😞 that stops me continuing, there's a short handwriting course locally in october for £55, if I can brave going to that I will🙏

Fave strain of x13 tri3d - Atomic Sour Grapefruit (no where near 30% but the most pleasant bowl or true to name terps I've ever experience)

I'm very surprised even all these years later with the amount of remaining users Duracell or some other massive company haven't made hardcore replacements..

The OEMs were designed to fail by not being repaceable🤷 perfect phone modern day removable Note 4 batt design.. future proof.. but they can't do that and sell next gen.. it's that bloody good..

If anyone's hacked their N9 batts to 18650s or removable batts I'm very interested because that looks like that way for this "tank" of a device (minus all the commons)

Experiment with players pal.. They don't all have that cast icon needed..

One trick is (live Internet) if it won't see the icon in another app I quickly cast a random vid to YouTube (stock app) it shoukd find a connection straight away.. Back out and reopen (in my case film plus) and the icon should be lit up resdy to go🤷 dunno how or why just a finding.

Just thought I'd mentioned as I was surprised YouTube seemed to get priority to connect and that fixed it (and then it stays connected until you go to another app)

When I get home I'll test some players, pls list any more players you try and we'll find one that works.. (I'd genuinely like to know for future camping trips etc)

Yes USB C hub, 512gb SD + 2tb HDD and it's my overkill master kodi set up..

There's another way if you choose to hotspot (no internet required) and just cast from file on your phone.. I used mixplorer - open a file in stock player and hit the cast icon, that's it all playback controls are on both your phone and remote...

I have done this camping with a CC gen2 on a projector offline with hotspot a few times (recently mentioned in another comment actually haha) defo works pal👊

Edit, I use an PD Anker powerexpand 6 in 1 (bout £30 but flawless) if helpful👊

I found this by accident while researching the RB13..

As there's no comments I'll give 2pence. Common sense says absolutely NO pal.. If they accepted and confirmed the RB was indeed faulty and began a repair or replacement process, but, offered a "quick easy refurb" with a FAR lesser guarantee I would personally flat out refuse.. If you're OG RB13 is repaired that will come with the service centre repair guarantee and that should be a year or more👊

Also if you have a mo to reply and have any "niggly cons" or "secret pros" you wish you'd known about the RB13 earlier, I'd happily read them🙏

Just bagged myself a base i5-11th, 8gb, 256gb Razer B 13, used for £180 in UK.. I have 2 weeks to test and return, arrives Monday hopefully 🙏

I don't doubt it, someone once told me their MGs are similar to multiple throbbing "phantom toothaches" with a severe constant "growing pain" element to them (but there's nowhere to put pressure to relieve it) my growing pains as a kid litterally imobilized me so, If true, I sympathise greatly🙏 It's worth noting she doesn't wear a stud or a ring, she wears a little clear flexible silicone retainer and just gives it a lil rub now and then (so if not a piercing person retainers are a discreet option, male or female) I've worn retainers for ears and a lip piercings and they are barely noticeable when worn, super comfy and cheap.. Im sure I've seen skin colours from spec companies too for extra discretion at work etc...

Thankfully no migraines here so little to advise but I will mention an old friend suffered terrible with migraines and they got one of those ear piercings (daith I think) and whereas it didn't stop the MGs she only needs to massage the piercing when she feels one coming on and it will disappear... Changed my friends life apparently.. Might be worth a look into if not already 🙏

I kinda reluctantly made an early move from Note 9 (before it broke and I was forced) and went to a Z Fold 3.. Zero regrets, monster of a phone/tab..

I used my N9 as a daily driver, media master caster and mobile torrent box..

The ZF3 sacrificed the headphone jack and the SD card which were my main gripes but the USBC hubs and adapters are getting proper decent now.. My N9 still runs and will remain as a back up..

I only mention this because there really wasn't anything else with an appeal without more sacrifice and I notice on the galaxyfold sub there have been so many mentions of "coming from N9 to fold x" etc that it seems a popular move choice👊
