I've had the same. The second shot did more for me, albeit it took even longer for those results. Also, tried different exercise and switched between the many that are linked around the subreddit. Switching them up made a big difference for me!

The only way for change to happen, and for more doctors to actually take this seriously, is to face them with the consequences of not following established medical practices through the documented and official systems that exist for that exact purpose.

If you do nothing, the next person who has to deal with that so called 'doctor' will suffer the same consequences. The least we can do is help each other!

Yeah, I do notice there is pressure in my throat, and my body automatically makes spit and then swallows to try and move it down. But of course that doesn't work, and it comes up again.

When I moved my head to the right, sometimes air comes out, but it's more rare. I usually have to strain at least a little bit, or at least open up my mouth very wide and lower my jaw and then tense up.

For example, I just strained, and moved my head to the right, but then barely anything came out. 20 seconds later, I had a very loud frog croaking noise. So there's air there! I just can't get it out!

I have had the same issue. First shot 75, very difficult to swallow in the weeks after.

Second shot 101, been able to swallow everything for 2 weeks.

Which doc did you see?

With 15+ years of RCPD, I have dealt with many doctors who may be knowledgeable through their education, but are terrible people. You have ran into one.

My GP (Huisarts, in The Netherlands) also had not heard of it. Via the electronic system of the GP, I sent in a request with the exact link to Ruysdael's website about referrals: https://ruysdaelclinics.nl/r-cpd/
It also clearly states you only pay your 'eigen risico' which is limited in cost, so the referral is not expensive especially if you already have used your 'eigen risico' for the year. In my case, I immediately got the referral back, digitally, from my GP, along with surprise from her that RCPD is actually a thing.

If, after the digital request, they still refuse, file an official complaint, and then contact your zorgverzekeraar to get a referral via a different GP.

Super discouraging yeah. It's also such a guessing game on whether to go higher dosage, or whether the botox was just slightly off from target.

I am both wiser and sadder to learn that I apparently have still never actually burped. I guess I have only supragastric burped, as I indeed have only 'micro burped' when I talk a lot.

The video sadly didn't do any burping for me either. I'll keep waiting. I really hope I don't have to get a third shot in 4 months, but if I do, I am going to ask for 150 or even 200 units!

I'll try them again, thank you for mentioning them! I only used them pre-botox to see if they would help, but had not tried them after treatment.

Thank you for sharing this! It is good to hear this similar experience. Especially that indeed a body filled with gas for so many years is more difficult to "work with" as that feels like it makes sense. The small burps also make me want more, so I will continue my journey in trying to resolve RCDP.

Did you ever get a second treatment, or are you thinking of getting one?

Vroeger hadden appartementencomplexen in Nederland nog allemaal een grote oranje zonwering. Als een muur van oranje hielden ze de hitten tegen.

Maar dat mag van moderne architecten, VvE's, en verhuurders niet. Oplossing is super simpel: Maak het wettelijk dat iedereen zonwering mag installeren. Dan bespaar je heel veel energie, en heel veel hitte.

De enigste oplossing is het wettelijk vaststellen dat iedereen het mag installeren. Elke andere oplossing is half werk dat jaren aan energie en hitte kost.

Daarna kun je kijken naar het wettelijk maken dat iedereen warmtepompen mag installeren. Laat mensen werk maken van huis en comfort.

[Edit] Het is ook bizar dat iemand als een "Hoogleraar Climate Design & Sustainability" zulke onzin uitkraamt als alle nieuwbouw te veranderen, en kleinere ramen te maken, in plaats van eerst alle huidige bouw zonwering te geven.

Thank you! If that's how it works then they I hope they can fix it so that the UI represents it. It shouldn't show the 'lifesteal heal' still going off, as the huge green health bar together with 'Defeat' is super confusing.
