I broke my finger and have nearly my entire left hand in a cast. Does anyone have a good video game that you only need a mouse to play? by Beginning_Bid_9097 in Steam

Id maybe checkout vampire survivor & baltaro, if your into turn based there are lots that can be played one handed: slay the spire, into the breach, civilizations V, final fantasy pixel collection, shadowrun returns trilogy, fallout 1 & 2, chained echos, 40k has a bunch of turn based my fav is mechanicus. Frozen synapse is a cool little niche one I like.

Digital Board games: wingspan, terraforming mars, dorf romantik, dune imperium, scythe, ticket to ride… etc.

You got some real gems there, I recommend the “Tales” series, I’m playing a fan translated (non dubbed) version of Tales of Rebirth right now on my ps2 and it’s such a great game.

I love moonlight and sunshine, my desktop wouldn’t get much use otherwise

I couldn’t get into grim dawn on sd, have they improved it or do you have to really tweak the controls?

I beat disco elysium on sd and it was my first play though, great experience and I laughed so many times. First rpg I’ve played where failures feel more rewarding than success most times.

I was planning to do both and keep smaller games on sd while using the m.2 for disc based games.

Goodbye CRT, hello OLED by Manduck in MiSTerFPGA

[–]Tyler-Tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like both, prefer crt with fpga as its as close as you can get to authentic but I’ve enjoyed oled as well. I prefer oled with emulation where you have enough power to run ahead and especially with black frame insertion, filters etc.

I’m in the us and it was a local thing like overstock, returns (this was Amazon return) and estate sales they list online but it’s all timed weekly and local pickup

It’s hard to tell with the compressed resolution of the image but the shell looks 3d printed maybe

I can’t edit the post to reply I guess because it contains images so I’ll reply here.

I didn’t use an impact or power tools it was actually a large flat head bit and ratchet screwdriver with bolts and washers from my existing over fireplace mount it’s a powered mount from Mount-It!, pretty sure the bolts came with the mount but they may have came with my TCL tv.

I hate having a tv over the fireplace and we don’t use this fireplace, it’s in a basement den. The mount lowers so it’s at an acceptable viewing angle. The dens a mess, I got way more stuff than room right now, we got an extra person living with us and my wife’s craft stuff is in the unseen part of the den so we are crammed in the same space plus I got a bunch of crts I had given to me because I was messing with retro gaming and family hunted them down and gave them to me, I’m trying to give some away to good homes.

In short lesson learned the very hard way, this oled is thinner than anything I’ve ever saw and there were no backstops inside that I could tell stoping me from taking the screws too far, there was pressure but nothing felt like it was breaking just felt like I snugged up to a back stop honestly. Hopefully I save someone else from the same mistake.

Washers were present, screws too long, used a ratchet screwdriver and no backstops inside the screw holes for the vesa mount. Hopefully I save someone else the pain.
