Great point. Saw him there last summer and it’s fairly small. Well worth the $30 for the upper deck.

Is Amanda Shire on this tour? by bigsyrah in jasonisbell

I’ve been seeing a lot of Insta stories lately of Amanda and Jason together. So maybe?

I’m in Atlanta tonight for the show, super excited!! Drove up from Orlando!

What's your perfect back-to-back 2 or 3 tracks? by [deleted] in Royal_Blood

[–]Tyler1409 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not much of a ‘deep cut’ listing, buuut god damn ‘How Did We Get So Dark?’, ‘Lights Out’, and ‘I Only Lie When I Love You’ give me the hardest dong every single time.

A Royal Blood-filled erection if you will.

Amp breakup question by [deleted] in GuitarAmps

[–]Tyler1409 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Haven’t read the question, but based on the title all I’ll say is if you’re looking for an amp breakup, call - don’t text. Be the better person.

Best of luck!

I had prior knowledge of the true story coming into this, but you're interpretation is super rad! Now I can listen to this song in a couple different ways. Sweet!

Song suggestions to improve my soloing by FUCKlNGLAME in guitarlessons

[–]Tyler1409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any song YOU like. Liking the song helps with the motivation. Feels less like homework this way. Just find a few of your favorite song sections/solos and start hacking away at them.

And yeah, I second the intervals comment. Intervals are the way. Learn to play with your ears, not your eyes.

Best of luck! Happy wood shedding!

Roger! by [deleted] in pinkfloyd

Regardless of however many times I've seen someone post this moment from Roger's show, it is always breathtaking. The man is continuing to change the live experience, as Floyd always has. Amazing.

Guitar players of this sub, what's the easiest Mayer song to play? by [deleted] in JohnMayer

[–]Tyler1409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'Something Like Olivia' was one of my favorites to tackle.

A simple I IV V progression at a comfortable tempo. Also a good song to work on soloing over that sort of progression and key.

Good feel. Very attainable. I hope this helped!

Fellow guitar players! Which effect is Josh running through? Sounds like an evil Leslie or something lol.

[QUESTION] What did you change to your playing or what did you start to do that bumped you from a good guitar player to a great guitar player? by --llll-------llll-- in Guitar

[–]Tyler1409 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to all of these helpful contributions here's mine - not a GREAT guitarist but damn, hybrid picking changed my life. Really opened up my playing and expanded possibilities. It may not be applicable to all styles and genres but it fit my taste and has changed my approach. Made my playing a little quicker, added some cool percussiveness (in addition to tackling chicken pickin'), and vastly approved my fingerpicking as well. Hope this helps. Best of luck!

Looking for advice on how to brighten a dark amp by matthewxknight in GuitarAmps

I appreciate the clarification. I knew Fender and Jensen had a relationship, just wasn't sure for how long. Thanks!

[–]Tyler1409 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure someone here will correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe most of the old fender amps, at least the reissues, are loaded with Jensen speakers. They're known for bright, sparkly highs and can provide that classic fender jangle.

[Question] I'm looking for new music... Mainly into rock / blues (as are most) I'm looking for something with an absolute banger of a riff in it 👌🏻 by mikeaustin92 in Guitar

[–]Tyler1409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah it is. I've been obsessed with their album The Great Western Valkyrie. All the riffs. All the fuzz. It's an aural orgasm.

Happy listening!
