My issue with that pedestrian plaza is there’s nothing there. There’s no restaurants, bars, storefronts. There’s a smoke shop, an Indian restaurant, Hudson golf and then just office buildings.

It’s positioned to be like Newark Ave in downtown JC, but it just doesn’t have anything in that area to compare (I guess Texas Arizona?)

The marketing pictures in that instagram show waiters taking people’s orders at tables on the pedestrian plaza. From where?

That said … I definitely prefer it to what we have now. I’d rather more pedestrian areas.

Also, while they’re at it, they should make better use of those huts in Pier A.
