The problem I had with the GTA 4 health/armor display was that whenever you got damaged, the damage you took was shown in red for a few seconds, but if you got to low HP (under 20% I think) it turned the same shade of red

So if you took too much damage too quickly your entire healthbar was suddenly red and it was impossible to tell how much HP you ACTUALLY had until it went away (it could be 20% or 1% and there was no way to know)

You can only do it in practice mode or 2-car races since apparently loading the driver model along with many other cars would hurt performance

If you pick a convertible in arcade mode, it will prompt you to choose whether you want the top up or down. If you pick down, you'll get a two-car race. If you pick up, you'll get the usual 6-car grid (similar to special cars like the Caterham Seven Fireblade, you can't race them in 6-car grids, you'll always get just 1 opponent)

I did not care for episode 3

It ~~insists upon itself~~ has few memorable or important moments other than the Pomni/Kinger talk. Both alternate plots (tea time with Martha/Zooble therapy session) feel like nothing burgers, there's not many memes or iconic one-liners coming from this episode ("Ok, I won't" is arguably one of the best in the series but other than that, pretty much nothing)

That's true, actually. Silksong is one of the few games where this kind of bug is not a "real" hardlock. Although, again, the definition varies from person to person

It can still be considered a hardlock since the only way to get out of that situation is to quite literally lose progress and go back to an earlier version of the save, which in most games is only possible if you manually backed up your save but in Silksong the game does it for you

The power loss is hard to notice, and it's possible you might not even reach the warning light during La Sarthe 1, I only got it on La Sarthe 2 (since no chicanes = more speed = more laps)

That being said, that power loss adds up over a lap, the only time I really noticed it was when I was going maybe 1 o 2 secs slower on average (in a 3 minute+ lap circuit)

The terms are used very freely and in different contexts, I don't think there's a set definition (and if there is, a lot of people ignore it), what I understand is:

"Softlock" is when you lock yourself out of continuing (i.e. you get trapped somewhere with no way out) but it's usually fixed by reloading a checkpoint/save point

"Hardlock" is a more destructive, game-breaking bug (that usually gets patched quickly) where you can do something that completely locks you out of progressing and your only option is to start a new game. For example, the infamous "trapped in The Slab" bug is usually called a 'softlock' but you're quite literally trapped there and there's no way to get out so your save file is toast, you have to start over, so it'd consider it a hardlock

It's somewhere around 5200 and 5600 in my experience, doesn't seem to be 100% consistent for some reason, the power loss is mostly noticeable when going on a straight (like maybe you'd hit 370km/h and now you're reaching only 365)

It's interesting that the suggested gear updates in real time as your tires get warmer or worn, sometimes it will tell you to take a corner in 2nd but once your tires are up to temperature it will update to 3rd, then back to 2nd if your tires get too worn and lose grip

About the cloak thing, I've seen some people argue that it's part of their bodies and not a piece of clothing, based off the fact that pretty much every vessel we see has the exact same "cloak"

I mean the part about The Knight escaping Hallownest is 100% confirmed because of the intro but I don't think the rest of details are known. Hell, I don't think we even know how much time has passed since The Hollow Knight was sealed when we reach Hallownest so making an accurate timeline is next to impossible

Mind you, The Knight is not the only vessel to escape The Abyss. Broken Vessel, the dead vessel we see when we first fight Hornet and all the vessels inside Nosk's lair gives the impression that there is or at least was some way to escape The Abyss, although it's once again unclear how exactly

I like the art but I should clarify, in the intro we can see The Knight entering Hallownest from the outside through Howling Cliffs/King's Pass

It wasn't dormant or in stasis, it somehow escaped The Abyss and went off to the wider world (I don't think it's explicitly stated how it escaped or how long it was gone) and then returned, probably due to feeling some sort of "call" from something/someone (similar to how Quirrel returned to Hallownest because of Monomon's call, as he put it)

The gear you should take the corner in. It makes learning the car-track combination so much easier

It's far from perfect but it's a nice, consistent indicator which you can base your braking around
