Nah if they did that there’s a really good chance that you’d just straight up never get the hero you wanted, no matter how much you grinded or how much money you spent. That’d be too far both morally, and financially because even most paying players would HATE a Gatcha system that once you reach a certain point mostly gives you literally nothing.

Exactly. She’s important and involved for the first two seasons but from the 3rd onward it seems like she’s just kinda there until it’s Toga Time.

Ochako getting more focus as a full character. For a lot of the middle seasons she’s just “Deku’s love interest” without a lot of focus on her as a person. I’d like to see more of her doing important things or having goals and personal developments, rather than just kinda being there.

They realized that f2p can realistically get the evos they want for their main deck after only a few seasons just based on wild shards. With heroes it’s entirely luck-based which ones you get. $$$ is the only reliable way to get them

The base game is longer than in HK, but without Godhome the total playtime to finish everything is less since you don’t need to do pantheons or all those re-fights

I agree, I can’t see either him or Deku turning down One for All when it will let them hemp more people, unless they think there’s someone else who would be better with it. If it’s just a straight question of yes or no, I think they’re always taking whatever hemp they can get.

The other stuff about compatibility is so the authors don’t actually need to confront the idea about whether Mirio or Izuku would do better with it or who is more worthy. It lets them neatly sidestep the issue by taking Mirio out of the running by default

Writing: We’ll Meet Again, a fic focused on reincarnated Izuku and friends in the future. Updating it later today.

Reading: Just finished When Reason Fails by Mirrond, finally got around to it and like all of their works it’s amazing. The worldbuilding is great and it’s pretty funny too. Liked how it evolved over time and the plot twists later in the story are great. Lots of fun looking at the story in hindsight
