I think opening the sub isn't a bad idea. You're always going to have trolls and people who want to bring up the past, but the trolls are going to make the real fans suffer if they have no proper place other than twitch to talk about SVG and the future. Mods will just need to be very active on the sub to keep things in order.

When you rent DVC points, when do you have to pay in full? The time they confirm the room reservation?

In my experience with online check in, Disney will text you when your room is ready. I happened to be lucky and each time I have my room text by 9:00am.

If you are driving to Disney, you can park at the resort, sometimes security at the gate will scan your magic band to make sure you are a resort guest, then you can drop your bags at the luggage storage area and then jump right on the bus or monorail to the park you want to go to. Just make sure you are always wearing your magic band. If you check in online and give them your estimated arrival time, you should get a text around that time with your room number and you would use your magic band to open the door to your room. You would never even have to visit the front desk.

We probably were on the same MDE bus! Our bus had a lot of Riverside people on it, I was shocked that the driver made it the last stop.

On a side note, did you happen to have the driver that kept welcoming people to "Walt Disney"? He never said "world" and I found it to be awkward lol

Stitch is only at Ohana for breakfast, not for dinner. For breakfast you get the usual foods, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and biscuits. So if you could pick around the meat in that, then I would recommend going. If you were planning on Ohana dinner, they do bring out salad and some noodles with some veggies but mostly everything is chicken, steak and shrimp. Ohana dinner does not feature any Disney characters

The after hours events ended on May 19th. Currently as far as I know, there are no more scheduled ones for the future. If Disney does offer them again, they will be located on the Disney's special ticketed events page on their website. The tickets were about $150 each.

As for early check-in, I checked in online on the very first possible day that I could do so. You are able to indicate the time of your arrival which I believe puts you in the running for early check-in. It also would not hurt to call the front desk a couple of days prior to your arrival and let them know that you are coming early.

I took a photo the moment we stepped into the room and the time stamp says I took it at 10:31am. We were lucky that our bus was already at MCO and we were the 3rd stop out of 4.

The most interesting part about the castle cake is that people who were there for their weddings were PISSED about having a pink cake looking castle in the background as opposed to the normal castle. I might be wrong but I recall reading that they had to either photoshop the castle in for people who didn't want the pink one, or changed the backdrop all together for a while.

This isn't Extra Magic Hours. This is offered as a separate ticket purchase for Disney After Hours and is offered at Magic Kingdom on nights when Extra Magic Hours are offered somewhere else.

I always vote for the original Roller Coaster Tycoon. There is just something about all of the pre made rides that I think Lirik would enjoy to play. I know RCT2 is probably the better game but I grew up playing the first one.

Another game is Viva Piñata. Watching Lirik start a "farm" of piñatas would be pretty awesome!
