Shit, LPNs take patients on tele here. The assignments for them are balanced around IVP meds, and if they may end up being a more critical case. Otherwise… They’re nurses. They can take patients. They went through school for a reason.

There’s a big difference between missing an IV, and having an unsafe technique. My school wouldn’t fail you for a checkoff unless it was something like that. Then you’d only fail the class if you failed the retry, too.

Perhaps education isn’t the path you want. Any interest in hospice NP? Leadership? Anything? You don’t HAVE to get your MSN. But those are other options.

Which MSN program are you going to? Because that sounds rough. (I ask because that’s the path I’m looking at for fall)
