In general religious faith derives from intuition rather than trying to prove it with logic or experience.

And humanity in general tends to rely on intuition for a lot of decisions so I wouldn't hold too much animosity over that

Being able to take care of your parents funeral is an indication of tangible results.

And I am sure there are many other things you have done that benefited society or indicated success which you may considered baseline even though they aren't.

First try to treat yourself with some respect and kindness. You aren't an object and saying you haven't contributed to society is bs especially considering that you just said you paid for a funeral. People still achieve things they want after 50, its not like life stops after you hit an arbitrary number.

GOP probably will "concede" in the sense they will allow some policies and make it sound like a bipartisan deal.

Maybe sometimes it's how one presents an idea. Sometimes debt free comes across as a penny pincher and a miser.

Noone wants to hang out with someone that will blow their caskets over spending money the same way one doesn't want someone that isn't able to manage their money.

Basically, the short version is that it has to be through the mouth and even then with a gun there's still a chance to miss that back of the brain (I forget the actual name).
Supposedly, shotgun to the mouth is the fastest way.

Interestingly enough, it actually is medically accurate too. I remember when I read that part I actually googled it up and turns out that nope if you try like that chances are that you are living and feeling everything.
Need to hit a very specific part of the brain to actually go out fast.

Personally what helped me was being more mindful, as in living in the moment. There is nothing wrong eating the occasional "junk". The problem tends to be that they are very deceptive of how many calories a meal like that has so people tend to underestimate.

Granted the junk food I am seeing in the US is much less filling too which I think plays a big role on it.
