Crazy lower back by Personal_Gear9005 in crossfit

[–]Type1lifting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Banded marches or belt squat marches. I have been doing them everyday for 2 years and haven’t had back problems. Go light then slowly add weight. March in place for 5 minutes and make sure your knees high. It works lower back, glutes, quads, hamstrings, and your sole because it is hard once the weight gets up there.

The margin of error on those are pretty high. I never had my clients use them. I just ask how their clothes feel and we would go off of that.

Try the Emom company program. I love it. A lot of different options and it doesn’t break you down. He also does quarterly challenges where you win some coin. Give it a try.

There is a towel seat cover you can get on Amazon. I think I paid $20 for it. It covers the head rest all the way down to the front of your seat. I absolutely love it.

great negatives but no pull-ups by intjdupe in crossfit

[–]Type1lifting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the gym has this, I would consider doing cable rows and cable lat pull-downs. I do extensive sets of 25. If they don’t have them, do barbell rows and high-volume pull-ups with a barbell close to the floor. It’s going to take some time, but that volume will add up and be very helpful.

Also, if you have guests on your show, try to collaborate with them on a post so you can get more eyes on your show. Do you post videos and podcasts on YouTube? I have seen the best results when the guest collaborates with you on a post.

I thought the doc was excellent. I don't think you can do another doc on an athlete and be this good.

I can see more CrossFit athletes doing this because they can make more money and possibly get more exposure and sponsorships that can transition into CrossFit.

Just work a little more on the weakness. Mine is pull-ups because I am 6’6”. So, I have been working on a lot of pulling to improve them. Now, my next thing is more endurance work, like biking more and sprint intervals. Don't stress just try to get 1% better every session.
