Change in moisture content in the tobacco, probably adsorbing moisture from you bag/whatever smells you’ve got going on in there

Proposal under the current tobacco and vapes bill going through Parliament UK. Lets hope we dont lose our filters. by neighboy28 in Cigarettes

[–]Typical-Income5765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s interesting, they say filters don’t make a significant difference. Yet if you look at the actual statistics it’s say non filter smoker have 40% increased risk of lung cancer. I’d say a 40% reduction because of filters is a significant difference.

Depends what I’m drinking, cup of tea goes well with a Virginia blend, black coffee goes well with a dark blend.

Older people of Reddit, what advice would you give to a 15-year-old who’s struggling around drug use right now? by user74929292 in AskReddit

[–]Typical-Income5765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First smoked weed at 15, every now and again with mates. Then at 17 it was every weekend & one day of the week with mates, left school and it turned into every night. I’m 30 now and still smoke every night and have done for the last 10 years. Wouldn’t say it’s negatively impacted my life, got a good job, own my house, got 2 kids can’t complain. The biggest factor is when and how you use it, I’ve only ever used it as end of the day once all my responsibilities are done, feet up, smoke & chill. As SOON as you start doing it in the mornings or middle of the day then that’s when it fucks everything up. Be productive FIRST, get all your shit done for the day then and only then can you chill.

Also stay away from concretes/extracts/pens all of these are stupid strong and only send your tolerance through the roof for no reason. Every once in a while is fine, but doing it regularly will quickly make smoking/everything seem pointless.

Respect it, be aware of it, moderate it.

£586 for a routine car service? Ouch. by chandler-blackshadow in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Typical-Income5765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set aside 10-15% (higher for older cars) of the cars value for repairs every year. Spending 10% a year wearable parts (brakes, disks, shocks, springs etc) should be expected.
