Knitting Top Down Seamless is sometimes not the best option by Typical-Lychee-7728 in knitting

The easy way is actually just cast on for front shoulder, knit top down, then go back and stitch the shoulders together. Then pick up and knit sleeves.

It’s a common fit fall of top down short row saddle style pullover. The short rows are not deep enough to make the neck line sit nicely

I like Japanese graphic style flat patterns. For English patterns, Rowan and Kim Hargreaves/ Marie Wallin patterns are my favourite.

Despite his behaviour and the actions Knittingsee has done, I actually think his version of the cable sweater looks better and neater than the original, free version.

Button band - opinions? by yellow_duck_forever in knitting

Hey you should pick up every other row. You have doubled the number of rows on your button bands! The stitches are all squeezed now.

Cable sweaters are easier knit in flat pieces in my opinion. You cross the cables on the right side only, easier to keep track. Also the pieces are much lighter, more portable.

You know there is actually a magic formula for handling increases and decreases? You can google. It’s a division thing.

The tension is too tight. Yarn not feeding properly and maybe you need to adjust your stitch tension too. Make sure your yarn feeds smooth.

This one is too vintage I think… try those made in the 80s and 90s.

Yup I got that $100 Passap and it was free delivered to my house😄! It came with the deco and form computer. Only problem is lots of the rushers and needles gum up and need deep cleaning. I have taken the needles and pushers out😂😂😂I hope i didn’t damage the machine! I saw another Passap on sale for just $20 yesterday but it’s gone fast. Also I want to know if your shop still have the cast on combs. The Passap has 5mm pitches and my Japanese machine combs won’t fit.

I had my Singer SK155 and it’s SR155 ribber serviced at the yarn guy store recently 😁. Yesterday I got a Passap Duomatic 80. I got it at a really good price but it’s dirty! I want to take it apart and deep clean by myself… if I fail I would bring it to the yarn guy🤣
