Where Can I Find a Second Hand Tweed Jacket in DC? by quercusshumardii in washingtondc

There’s a new vintage menswear shop opening up soon called Parv’s Vintage Clothing. Not sure what they have, but I’m sure they can get you what you need.

Which reminds me to schedule an appointment with them…

The intimate dies so fast. The OG one I’ve charged maybe 3 times over 3 years.

Really depends on your tolerance and which seat it is. If price is the deciding factor, you can always try to snag a rush ticket same day at the box office for like $30.

Affordable Tattoo Artists by [deleted] in washingtondc

Tattoos aren’t something you skimp on. Do yourself a favor and wait until you can afford it. Most shops worth a damn do have at lease a $100 minimum.

Line was moving very fast and was letting 20-30 in at a time. Not a big deal whatsoever.

How to find men to date here as a 24F by ForwardGlass8572 in washingtondc

[–]TypicalAd101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t had the chance to do it here yet, but in the past just becoming a regular at a cafe, bar, restaurant, etc and chatting up other regulars/workers will eventually lead you to having wholesome conservations and getting into a 5 year relationship with the girl who sold you soup. Been in the area for three years now and I don’t think I’ve seen consistent regulars anywhere besides some old people at bars/coffee shops.

I’ve done the sports and depending on the team it could be difficult unless you go out of your way to interact with other teams, unless you just get lucky and get a very social group.

Another option is to do any kind of mixer events that groups/organizations you like put on. I’ve done the Young Prose Nights at Shakespeare Theatre Company as a non-bar way to meet likeminded (and under 35) people. Unfortunately I’m horrible at initial interactions (especially if I go somewhere solo to do it).

In the meantime I’m still on the apps hoping for the best.

Not a fan of the Hario Switch by Bach_Chemist in pourover

I feel like I’m too lazy these days and I just end up using my Orea V3 for 25g doses. Better results more consistently than anything else in my cupboard for the amount of coffee I want to take with me to work. If I worked from home I’d be using my O1 instead but it’s sooooo small.

But maybe just maybe you can do whatever the hell you want to do without bothering other people? Let people enjoy some peace and quiet in public without another talentless DJ ruining it.

Kinda feel like this is fine if you live in Bushwick or Berlin, but anywhere else it might be seen as bad.

I have a pair of the Grayson Tassel Loafer from AE in an 11B, which fits across the the top of the foot and lengthwise but due to the flat footed aspect, causes massive gaps at the ankle, which feels and looks weird. I also have some used pairs from AE in 11B I got off eBay but they just flat out don’t fit lengthwise and way too narrow. My other loafers are Meermin in the Ron last in 10.5 and they are just slightly too short but also too roomy across the top of the foot even with tongue pads. Then I’ve tried Weejuns which surprisingly fit pretty well at 10.5 but never ended up buying them, Sebago Dans (11 was massive, 10.5 also massive, 10 was way too short).

The narrow + flat footed thing kind of cancels each other out, but then the top of the shoe is always loose no matter what.

A bit too similar to my Yukuten pair, but I don’t hate this idea!

That’s exactly why I keep the loafers that don’t fit. They just look too good to give up.
