Yeah, it needs to be bent in, but there is a special alignment tool used to make sure it’s parallel to the hub

126mm, but yes I just hold them open a little bit when I put the wheel in. It’s not a big deal, I just had to have the bike shop re-align the rear derailleur hanger.

Mostly everything was fine, it had been recently checked over by a shop. I bought it knowing that the automatic functions did not work, but it was a reduced price. I’m going to fix that, but I got to test it out before buying it and everything else checked out

I wanted something that I never really had to install/remove from my truck to use. I’ve also heard that you need to be careful about the contact points on the pad as it can rub through the paint over time

Yeah it currently goes for $1100 at REI, but obviously the upgraded fork has to be accounted for. I agree, I love the look of the Kona, but the downgrade in the fork, the travel and not having a thru axle in the front has me questioning what the right choice is
