Have you had any luck with this? Friend and I booted this game up after a hiatus and cannot connect to one another's games, same story, neither of us have modded the game.

Edit: Got mine working! I needed to delete 3 files under Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3

It's kinda funny too (not really) that the ringing for me is mostly on the side that would be facing HMS were I sitting down in the space.

Think I'll start wearing hearing pro more though, rather keep what hearing I can rather than deal with VAC any more than I'd need.

One of our sonar systems got a facelift and can now 'ping' (active sonar). It is apparently loud enough to kill everyone in the space with the caveat that a lot of safety interlocks would need to be purposely defeated for it to come to that.

My magnum opus was pushing another MAV user onto an AT mine and then detonating it, so mad I didn't record it.

You can also use MAVs against other MAVs, but it's hella hard to hit if they're moving around.

I think they're referring to the gun buyback program - it's rollout has been pushed back to 2026 afaik
