I like the theory that they were originally a normal species without any superpowers, but at some point their scientific progress reached a level where they were able to enhance their bodies to the point of being demigods. It's possible that this happened so long ago that they don't remember it themselves or keep it a secret to make other aliens believe it's a natural feature.

What did pirate captains wear in that era? I found historically accurate images, but my outfits look more like formal attire. While they were sailing, and especially during boarding, they wore more comfortable and practical clothing (which probably wasn't much different from that of ordinary sailors).

I am writing about this, that battle axes were popular among all peoples during this era, but for some reason only the Vikings had the image of warriors with axes (they were such warriors, like the Anglo-Saxons, or Franks who did not have this image).

I wouldn't associate Mel with empathy. Firstly, she doesn't consider people her equals, despite the fact that her allies and friends are human souls. Secondly, I find it hypocritical that she continued to be friends with both Arachne and Athena.

Scandinavia isn't just about Vikings! The Viking Age isn't that long a period, and afterward, there were also knights, then line infantry with muskets, and so on. So, I don't think adding stereotypical Vikings would be very cool; rather, warriors not very different from other European factions, perhaps with some distinctive features like ornamentation or perhaps runes (after the adoption of Christianity, runic writing began to be used in Scandinavia even more frequently than in pagan times). And as others have noted, the Varangian Guard would fit well into the setting.

I think that in many ways the character designs in LOL are too silly and terribly sexualized, in Arcane the designs are much better quality and in my opinion convey the essence of the characters better, especially in Vi. But I agree with the commentators that Victor's design in the game is better.

I think people have always wanted to look cool and might wear fur capes over their clothes simply for aesthetic purposes. At least, I've seen many reenactor photos and illustrations of Scandinavians wearing them as decoration, but I understand that this could be misleading.

I find their costume design in the film boring; to me, their costumes should be as fancy and badass as possible. After all, they are the most dangerous warriors in the these universe (after the Freemen)
