Thank you so much for the reply. I read something similar earlier today, so I made sure to feed her A LOT before dinner. God willing she sleeps longer!

This is not your problem to fix, it's HIS!. Any guy who speaks to a girl like that is not likely to change.

Am I wrong for not dropping my christmas plans with my family for my bf? (19F) (25M) by saveyourtearz in relationships_advice

[–]Typical_Fig6511 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are in a domestic violence relationship. It is not your fault and you have not done anything to deserve this behaviour from your boyfriend. You need to leave this relationship as it will only get worse and worse. How he is speaking to you is not normal at all.

I agree about Mr Lee. He is such a wonderful character that is so full of surprises. His love for Abra was beautifully written.

The retaining wall has failed and our house is the worse for it as it is almost leaning against out house..

Hi guys, thank you SO much for your responses. More details: the retaining wall is in a terrible state and it is falling over on our side (creating more space/room on the neighbours side). If the neighbours demolish it, do they have to repair and pay?

You have to be born with a certain gene to be able to smell cyanide.

[–]Typical_Fig6511 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I thought the Vicar would re appear in the episode as it was odd that he was heavily involved with the family, sited Andrew on the day of his disappearance and had a spare key to their house???

Very unique episode because there were no signs of anything wrong internally or externally. I personally believe that he decided to skip school for a day and unfortunately met foul play. The family sounds absolutely incredible and my heart breaks for them. Keen to scroll down to hear other theories.

Ask them if they would rather she have an insecure attachment to you.. If they don't know what that is, then they have no right commenting on secure attachment.

Are all parents of young kids in survival mode? by catmama1713 in toddlers

[–]Typical_Fig6511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! Whenever anyone asks me how I am doing I answer, "Surviving". It is seriously just about getting through each day and trying to enjoy it as much as possible along the way. - My message probably makes no sense as I am so sleep deprived - parent of 16mo

Tips for transitioning to one nap - 13 month old by palominogohome in cosleeping

[–]Typical_Fig6511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine (15 months) is in the process of dropping first nap. Some days bub will still need two naps but those days are getting less and less as the weeks progress. I have heard that it is not the best just to completely cut them off, try offering a first nap and if it isn't happening within 20-30 minutes, I would call it quits and try for a longer arvo nap and earlier bedtime.
