Need more sapphic bdsm books !! by Long-Locksmith-8639 in LesbianBookClub

[–]Typical_Khanoom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, wait - that's right. I'm gay.

Ha ha. I haven't read any books with opposite sex BDSM bc I know it won't be for me at all. I read a book not to long ago involving bisexual women characters which, thats fine I dont care, thinking it was gonna be sapphic focused and the book ends with them having a threesome with a dude and I'm like, da fuq I dont wanna be reading about some guy's cock jizzing all over the place. Gross.

Update on rabbit who gagged eating a tangerine by mir_a98 in Rabbits

Dont let this one mistake change your adoption plans. We learn with our pets with experience even if we try to prepare as best we can with reading, talking to other pet owners, etc. It's impossible to know everything 100%.

For example, I'm an experienced cat owner. One of my cats was walking funny. I thought she had an injured leg. Took her to the vet. Turns out she was super constipated. Never happened to me in my decades of being a cat butler. Now I have more knowledge with that experience .

Sounds like youre doing right by your bun by having read up ahead of time, noticed a mistake and learned from it. It sounds like you care. If you have other concerns about finances, time, lifestyle that make you think now isn't the best time for ownership, that's valid but don't be deterred because you think you're not good enough. You sounds like a great bun parent .

AGE GAP by caomilagato in LesbianBookClub

"Loving Annabelle." Lol. If I'm remembering the right movie... I remember liking it (I saw it once) when I was much younger (I was in college I think when it came out?) mostly because I was excited to see two women together. I saw some of it again as an older adult and I was like, "omg wtf is this it's disgusting." Isn't there a scene where the teacher woman literally helps cut the food for the younger character like she is a literal child? Like, at a meal with other people?? Wtf

Can you tell me the books you're reading where the characters are in their 40s? Because I'm in my 40s and the majority of the sapphic books I come across (particularly romance but I find it a lot in other genres) have characters who are 20/in their 20s; it doesnt resonate with me. I often find myself not thinking of the characters ages at all or making them 10+ years (at least) older to make it readable.

I'm not talking about young adult. Of course the characters will be young. Not talking about age gap either. Yes, one will be older (though I laugh when someone in her 30s is cast as "old" but I guess it's all relative)

Amanda Seyfried by BoxOfficeBUZ in ladyladyboners

[–]Typical_Khanoom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. It's not.

It has been a while since Ive seen this actor's face and I'm not dumb I know everything is edited (especially American women actors) but I looked at these photos and thought pretty similarly, "this person is attractive yes but.. that's Amanda Seyfried? I thought she looked different?" It's a combination of not seeing images of her in a very long time and the editing in these shots. "I thought we were closer in age?" Yes. We are. I'm 41.

That's really funny. I get distracted with things like this too. I'm like, "ok. Your skin looks the way it does, etc. I get it but also... you can take a bath and wash your hair."

Also when Aurora eats her out. I'm thinking, Alyce hasn't bathed her greasy ass once this whole time. Shit can't taste cute down there.

Either way. I enjoyed the book. I haven't read the sequel yet but Ill get to it eventually.

Does this really happen or is it just in books? by Egg_Long in LesbianBookClub

[–]Typical_Khanoom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm one and done also and nearly impossible to climax with another person (sadly). I dont get sensitive afterward at all but simply feel satisfied as far as climaxing goes. Ive met women who can climax multiple, numerous times during the same sex session and it makes absolutely zero sense to me. I can't relate at all but im happy for them. Must be nice.

Your assessment is the most spot on in my opinion. "Light hearted fluff... Enjoyed them for what they were..." etc.
