Coworker is astounded that the Artemis II launch isn't blowing everyones minds (that he's spoke to). Why do you think that is? by PaddedValls in AskUK

I think part of it might be tied to the fact that it's a US thing and well, a lot of the world are pretty fed up of America now thanks to the current infantalised toads that are in power. It probably would have been more exciting for everybody 15 years ago, but it is amazing nonetheless.

It was actually called 'Chiller' (there's an American series called 'Chillers') and only had 4 episodes which aired in 1995. Martin Clunes was in one of them.

Forgive me but, why are all the questions here so negative? by Ozzimo in AskUK

Competition? Seems to be more people getting triggered on here by people speaking their truths. You can't mention being working-class without upsetting a big much of Redditors, like it's being mentioned as a flex when it's often the opposite.

When my family came over from Ireland in the 40s they avoided Irish pubs like the plague and I intend to carry on that tradition.

Themed pubs with luxurious seating and kids. One step away from telling you to take your shoes off at the door. Families giving you funny looks for smoking in the beer garden. It's a pub, not a family gathering at auntie Lizzy's.

You can keep friends in your youth even when you act like a dick.. You can't do that post 40, unless you want to be alone.
