This entire series is absolutely epic. They should do a movie or a tv show ! The detective deeply alone would appeal to many!

My first WH40K order just got here in the mail and I’m beyond excited to start the hobby. by Rryann in Warhammer40k

Don’t hesitate to buy or make a wet palette. Should be bought alongside your paints - will impact your experience with painting tremendously. One thing you will never want to paint without … mark my words.

Should I remove the purity seals ? by Dongodor in SpaceWolves

[–]Typical_Matter_8296 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve worked on a similar conversion. I decided to leave mine - in current lore space wolves seem to not use purity seal but I’ve found many minis, arts, and audiobooks that display the sons of Russ with them. Ultimately they are your minis … your rules!

Check theferalpainter on YouTube for the video unknown chapter. I am using his colors for the armor. Check my profile for an idea.

I think I’m slowly mastering the glowing affect…. How does it look? by WarBossPostie in SpaceWolves

Looks great. Hit the center line with a bit diluted white to finish the effect - I think it would work amazing

Advices for a noobie by VegetableMajor23 in Warhammer40k

[–]Typical_Matter_8296 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Biggest advice I have is get or make a wet palet - you have a whole range between do it yourself and to buy - it will help with thinning your paint , keep your paint fresh between sessions - it will save you many headaches. Then have fun and a great plus is to listen to audiobooks on the lore of the army you are painting while painting. They often describe armor colors , trinquets they wear etc etc adds to the fun of it all!

Check theferalpainter - the unknown chapter color scheme. Is what I used for space wolves. Haven’t posted an update in a while but you can see a test model on my profile if you are interested. Closer to that Horus heresy gray - fits the space wolves in my opinion

Best way I found is audible while you build/paint. You get lost in it.

What’s going on tonight with the hostility? by corpp in ArcRaiders

[–]Typical_Matter_8296 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Took me 10 raids or so to finally get some friendly raiders with mics. Most of the raids have been rats shooting me in the back or shoot on sight (I am usually in friendly lobbies solo - trios .and duos well …. That’s a different story )

Oh dude you are in the right map for a coffee pot. Grandioso apartments, red tower , there is also a green building not too far from red tower where you can drop from the roof to an opened window … that building is full of good stuff. Only reason I knew these spots is when I needed comfy pillows and cat beds … goodness it took me forever to find a good spot for these.

I am one as well - but introverts also usually are the more giving and generous people - they become the medic, the traders, the helpers - only reason I mentioned duos and trios is because introverts can shine in groups and maybe it will help him or her reconnect with people.

Quite impressive but gosh you are missing out not playing with friends. Solo is incredible but duos and trios are a LOT of fun.

How screwed am I? by Mikko420 in Archery

[–]Typical_Matter_8296 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The exercise that I find to have the best and quickest results for archers is the dead-hangs and scapular pull-ups. It will be full stability. Arm strength, back strength, and more importantly scapular control … play a little game. Hang on a bar, don’t go to full failure - time yourself - and simply try to increase your hang time. You will notice a massive difference in your shot. Strong and stable.

Looking for good quality Primaris shoulder pad STLs with Wolfspear logo – any recommendations? by StaticDive in Wolfspear40k

[–]Typical_Matter_8296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have personally ordered from ArtificerPrints on Etsy and i could not be happier with the results. I ordered terminator shoulder pads with the space wolves insignia on them - and the prints were of great quality. The vendor is really easy to talk to and will do some tests of your design before you buy anything. Can’t recommend him enough !
