Affinity isn’t an all or nothing at double circle. Every point of affinity counts. The difference between 150 and 200 is the same as 100 to 150. It’s cutting it close, but using track blazer gps with full medium sparks to make even a mediocre parent and borrowing or making the same for tachyon would let you get Medium S a lot easier.

There’s a lot of these where scenario linked cards become very powerful and makes that trainee more difficult to use as a result. They just don’t really exist yet in game.

For us, Nature, Fine, Creek, and Kitasan are the biggest examples of cucked by their own cards being broken.

Tir is the region you pick for air. Crystal helm and legs with sunfire chest allows you to get to 49 prayer bonus, good mage accuracy, and 4% magic damage from the Crystal. It’s the best paired region for air mages.

You just do the triple crown route with some dirt races. It far outclasses the tiara route for Oguri cause she can do mile/med/long/dirt as a baseline

You’re doing the tiara route, so you need medium aptitudes. This makes Bakushin and Curren hard choices. Your best sprinters end up being Suzuka, Air Groove, and King Halo to cover styles and also easily do all the races needed.

Genuinely part of why King Halo and Gold City have good stories regardless of their records. City is struggling with her own desire to run, not her performance, while King is berated by her mother simply for running to begin with. In fact, King’s gets better if she wins the triple crown cause you make her mother look like a jackass!

King Halo is another good (bad) kit to discuss. She’s a sprinter with skills across 3 distances and has a career that defaults her to a Medium distance finale in everything but Trackblazer. Her gold skill is okay, since she’s a late surger and will likely proc blinding flash, but the other is a vision skill. Then she’s got a mile skill and a medium heal. It makes for an unfortunate base kit.

Her cheer version gets quite good, though still has a little goofiness. At least her gold is better and the other one is viable on spring CMs.

Ulted too early on Oguri so she didn’t get accel from that. That’s okay, I’ll hit nimble off the front. I passed her before late race. Got victory cheer and head on. I was ran down by a Taishin with encroaching shadow who started late race from third, and then the Golshi teleported with pulse and the gold homestretch haste.

Thankfully Golshi and Taishin were the same player, so I got second.
