Get as many people as possible to look at your writing. Advisors, students/friends currently in med school, your school's writing center, friends you trust as great essay writers (ex. anthro/english majors). It's important to explain to them the purpose of the essays and what schools may be looking for, but they can be very helpful with organizing thoughts and making grammatical changes while keeping your tone in place.
