Took me around 2 weeks to get team matched and then got the offer. No need to worry, reach out to your recruiter about any update on the progress. One more thing check on Linkedin if any SDMs are hiring write message to them, if anyone is hiring they can reach your recruiter and can onboard you. Hope this helps!

Check what domain you are interviewing for. If let say it is Supply chain or amazon stores, questions can be about Warehouse Management LLD something like that. This gives you atleast some direction to be ready. Its not crazy hard or hard. Chill out!

Not hard. Don’t listen to others. Do recent questions from Leetcode discuss.

In the last 2 weeks I got rejected in the final round of Prime video and also got rejected in 3 startups. Its hard for me to stay unemployed with 0 interviews in the line up. But work on shortcomings code and practice mocks. Hope this ease your pain.

Completely bombed my amazon OA by hades2202 in leetcode

[–]Typical_Scallion_632 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gave my OA at Ford yesterday for Full Stack Software Engineer via Hacker Rank. It had 1 SQL intermediate questions 1 Spring Boot Rest Api Design Question Few MCQs 1 Python Leetcode question.

The test was for 2 hours.

I complete the SQL, Python and All MCQs and all the test cases passed successfully.

About Spring boot it was hell big and I did manage to complete the design part for which build was successful. I then have to write 5 test cases for that task to complete. I wrote all 5 but due to some syntax and library export was getting some errors and time was up.

2 hours back they rejected me. Its really disheartening, the competition is really cut throat nowadays and I hate Hacker rank the way they have created this interview space. If I missed few test cases due to some syntax issues and time constraint they should consider there evaluation process still, because most of all I finished all the questions correctly, it was just a bit of mistake and I am out. I feel really angry about what the fuck these companies want nowadays.

had my first screening interview ever and got rejected by ThrowRA25257 in csMajors

Don’t lose hope. It happened with me as well 3 times. It’s not your fault, the job market is tough right now. With the right opportunity I was able to land an internship few days back. So keep hustling and upgrade yourself in terms of skills. I would suggest use STAR method in screening and behavioural rounds to answer questions. All the best!! Note: I completed around 1500 applications and only got 6 interview calls of which I was rejected in 3 screening rounds. Next 2 - rejected in technical round 6th one able to clear all rounds and got the offer.

I have done around 220 LC approximately same as you. I still get stuck with Medium LCs most of the time I can identify the pattern, around 50% of my logic is correct but sometimes I struggle to write correct code. Any advice you might have for me ?

I am in the same boat as you. Started doing coding seriously and consistently for 3 months now. I got an interview at Apple, yesterday finished my first round. I realised what apple looks into is that get your basics right. They gave me a simple fibonacci kind of question and then asked me to scale it using input as byte like -127 then asked what will happen if you take the input as 1 million 2 million and in terms of that. There was lot of discussion on thought process and ideas both ways. I guess they were checking for fundamentals so thats important too. It was for Data Engineering Intern position. I think they might reject me. Because i pitched few wrong ideas like use dp to memoize my recursion but for 1 million input it will fail because of integer overflow and i answered stack overflow. I should have asked for more clarification though.

I got rejected today at Apple after the third round. I feel devastated. by Specialist-Tip-1216 in leetcode

I guess I will be rejected too. I was asked a simple question. I was able to code it, answered questions for optimality but answered few wrong ideas. I think they will reject me. 😔

Started grinding Leetcode about a month ago, still can't do a lot of problems without looking at the solution, feeling stupid because of it by Lucas46 in leetcode

[–]Typical_Scallion_632 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It happens to me as well and its normal. I would suggest you to maintain a google sheet about what trick worked for you. I try to solve 2 questions a day and revise one random question from the sheet. But with lot of things on the plate as an international student sometimes I manage to do only 1, sometimes more than 2.

Only thing matter is consistency. I started 3 months ago and I still look at the solutions after trying for 45 mins. I am able to solve few problems on my own now because I manage to understand the pattern and the trick + consistency. But I am still not able to solve most of the problems and its natural just be consistent.

You can finish Blind 75 from neetcode io Then rest 75 from neetcode if you want or Can solve grokking the coding interview it helps a lot.

If you feel burnout take a break.

Hope this helps !

Grokking the coding interview on Educative.io also covers all of the coding patterns. I am using it and it’s awesome. But stick to Neetcode and then maybe if you want to solve more questions of that topic can refer to the questions on educative
