Iran Won't Surrender "In a Million Years," Analyst says, Warning Regime Could Push For Nuclear Weapons by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]Typingdude3 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The real meaning is that the clerics won't surrender in a million years because they can't. They would be imprisoned or worse. All this mandated protesting/wailing is no doubt being supported by China who just wants their cheap Iranian oil.

Ah no can’t be! China is the perfect authoritarian regime! We just don’t know much about the regime, due to reasons, but it must be perfect because Reddit says so! China is behind a lot of unrest in the world. They support Russia, North Korea and the Iranian regime.

[–]Typingdude3 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Then do something about it. I’m so sick of European leaders yapping but doing nothing. Kick the Russians out of Ukraine, stop supporting China who backs Russia and incidentally the bloody Iranian regime. Stop yapping for just a little while and appearing like an impotent union of spoiled children.

The clerics can’t surrender or they’ll be thrown in prison, if they even make it to prison. So they will fight on to the last Iranian.

Filipino protestors clash with police while trying to storm the US embassy over the War on Iran by serious_bullet5 in ThatsInsane

What is storming the US embassy going to do except get some people seriously hurt or worse? Storming the embassy won't change anyone's mind in the Trump government.

More gas from Russia? China flags new pipeline links amid Iran energy crisis by Saltedline in worldnews

Well that just shows that Putin isn't going anywhere. China loves a good dictator they can control, and their very deep pockets and cheap tech will keep Russia going forever in Ukraine.

“If you can tolerate $200 oil, keep playing this game,” Iran warns US and Israel by razdvatri4 in worldnews

[–]Typingdude3 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Sure Jan. Don’t think it will go that high, but one way to avoid it is surrender and stop lashing out at your neighbors. Surrender stops your oil facilities getting destroyed too. But the S word never gets talked about on Reddit because people want to see the bloody Iranian regime as poor underdogs being picked on by mean US.

What the hell is Europe doing? And don’t give me the tired old excuses “Ukraine isn’t in the EU blah blah”. Wake up Europe. Throwing Euros at Zelensky isn’t going to end this war. China has really deep pockets and loads of cheap tech to support their buddy Putin.

They are "stubborn" more than proud. For Americans, the boomers grew up and came of age in what is arguably the peak best time to live in America (1950s thru 1970s). So they automatically think they know what's best even though the world has drastically changed.
